I tried to read the Gawker recap of the interview and I had to stop. I live in hope that we're at the tipping point where we turn away from this kind of insanity and embrace reason...which I know is probably unreasonable of me to expect, so...

I watched it. I couldn't help myself. I took away that the Duggars have learned that mixed-gender siblings should never be left alone together to play hide and seek and that boys shouldn't babysit. It's not that their son is effed up and they are effed up parents, it's just if you put ANY siblings alone together they might f*ck!

That family is warped. That the parents did absolutely nothing when Josh confessed to them what he was doing is just incomprehensible to me. They are now forced to address this because it was discovered. They were perfectly comfortable sweeping it under the rug. What kind of people are they?!!
Not to mention that his sister Jessa, who is one of the victims has a problem with people calling her brother a child molester. Excuse you Jessa. but that IS what he IS.
If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck it's a muthafukking duck. The fact that she is going out of her way to excuse away his actions is just twisted. Maybe she secretly liked it. At this point nothing would surprise me about this "family".

Interesting article in an industry trade today. I believe TLC will do the right thing and cancel this completely with no additional spin-offs of any sort.
I know the account I run pulled all advertising two weeks ago, and wouldn't touch another Duggar program if it was offered to them on a silver platter.

Seeing that awful woman with the abnormally huge eyes blinking and saying it was "not rape or anything like that" made me change the channel instantly.
Not only should TLC pull the show, that woman and her even creepier husband should be prosecuted for child abuse.
