ANyone else notice the woman who just won who said "this is great for my career."....

Well, I never heard her name before so I'm sure it will be.

Damn, I wanted Agnieszka Holland to win Best Director for a drama.

I think the music suits a show that takes place in New Mexico.

This musical number celebrating 24, LAW & ORDER, and LOST is hideous and ludicrous. Instead of being comical, they should have just done a montage showcasing highlights. Especially for L&O. This is the first major thing about the evening I haven't been pleased with...

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

And what about the fact that other shows have gone off the air since the last Emmys telecast?

Seriously, Elton John hasn't been so thoroughly humiliated since he sang at Limbaugh's wedding.
