This movie is a real thinker.

Not since Cronenberg was in his heyday has someone manipulated the human form for horrific effect to the extent that Six does here, not since Miike has someone created such a compelling, just-off-center view of humanity. Despite the bizarre premise, Six creates something here that feels entirely plausible, entirely real. There is no nodding to the audience, no winks. So focused is he on the reality of his premise that Six actually consulted with a practicing surgeon to ensure that his scenario was, as he proudly proclaims, one hundred percent medically accurate. It's a dedication that has yielded one of the most troubling pictures in years.

Frankly, I found this teaser clip to be more disturbing than the actual trailer.

So, they are all connected, but wouldn't they still have separate nerve systems and...I just don't see how this is possible. It's sick.

I read the plot summary on wikipedia (don't know why, since I'm just giving myself the freak out)...

SPOILER

and it seems that the front and back person both die. So does the girl in the middle then just die a slow, horrible death from dehydration?

And what do you even *do* with a human centipede? and why is there going to be a sequel?

When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain. -Kad

Does having the three of them connected not require the last two to breath on their own? I'm confused about that. Does the first one do all the breathing?

I guess they can breathe through their noses. Not that that would be a pleasant experience. Seriously... how does one bathe when attached to two other people? lol

I've seen showers that could easily accommodate the three of them. Or maybe the doctor would just hose them down.

I caught a screening of this in London about 8 months ago. It was 8.30 in the morning and there was about another 4 buyers in the audience. Two of the woman left after ten minutes leaving just two of us left.

The film itself isnt as disturbing as you may think. The worst part for me was a scene where the doctor explains to his three captives what he's planning to do to them. That was more horrific than anything else that followed. The producer Ilona Six was there and is very happy with the final result. The film is very tongue in cheek and well worth a view. Just dont est during it

Those girls seem to have studied acting with Tommy Wiseau.

"Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact. It's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration. It's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing.” ~ Muhammad Ali
