Gross! They didn't show that in the one I saw. Thank God. Who was having sex with a newborn? All I saw was a bunch of sort of normal sex and blood.

I am folding my arms across my chest and reminding you: Did I not tell you not to look?
Draws figure eights in the sand with my toe while looking sheepish... Yes you did.
However, just like when my jump instructor told me not to look down once I reached 300 feet because the mind plays tricks on you and thinks you are falling at a faster rate then you really are.... I did anyway.
Broke my ankle that time, my soul this time.

THAT sounds scary!
I watched the red band video but I wasn't grossed out. I must have missed something because I'm usually sensitive to that stuff.
I think the worst clip in the trailer I saw was when it appeared he was having sex with his young son.

I knew if I even mentioned Serbian Film people would go look for it, that's what I did when I heard of it. I just think it's interesting that somebody like Owen Gleiberman refers to himself as a "depravity-head." I wonder what his analysis of these movies is? Did he go to the South by Southwest Film Festival to see Serbian Film? I mean, he mentions how these movies have to keep upping the ante. Is simulated sex with a neonate who dies as a result anted up enough?
Among the things I loathe Eli Roth for is he doesn't come out and say "I make a movie like Hostel to sexually excite myself and viewers." But instead he pretends it's about something more important. The makers of Serbian Film do the same thing. But at least they aren't dating Peaches Geldof.
I'm happy to say that even my horror-buff self has no interest in seeing even the trailer to this other film. If I want to be disturbed, I'll see Julie Andrews in THE TOOTH FAIRY again.
"But instead he pretends it's about something more important."
Yes just like the creators of Serbian Movie do. They claim it is allegory about the government and it's tactics... sure... so what if they get a hard on watching it?

Yeah, that's what I was saying. I actually might respect Eli Roth if he said "Just being able to create these repulsive images of people getting tortured gives me a hard-on even more than the fact of what it's representing" but instead he acts like people don't "get" his lofty ideas.
I'm glad his career is down the crapper.

Eccch. The personality detracts from so many things about him I would ordinarily find attractive.
Him and Peaches Geldof deserve each other.
Not sure about his career going down, only until Tarantino cuts the umbilical chord.

Talk about j/o buddies.
I saw a different trailer than you guys did. I didn't see anything that looked like he's having sex with his kid. That's awful. I am grossed out totally by that movie.
The fact that people want to watch the most shocking and violent torture porn is one thing (I understand morbid curiosity to some extent), but I don't get the people who want to make it, finance it, and distribute it. How far are they going to go? Is there really a need for it other than the obvious attempt at infamy?
The whole thing reminds me of that person in Germany who answered a Craiglist ad to be the victim of a cannibal. Acutally, SIX PEOPLE responded to the ad, but he was caught after killing and eating the first. GAH! It's bad enough that these things actually happen, but I think I would prefer to live with my head in the sand and not even KNOW about them.
Stockard, I can't find the first trailer I saw again. It had a shot of our porn hero from the back humping away, then a quick cut away to an over his shoulder shot of his 5 year old with terrified eyes and shirtless looking at him. Truly disturbing and very truly bordering on Kiddie Porn. I am sure that if this film gets a distributer, that many of the more graphic scenes will be edited out for general release.
OK, thanks. I don't think I want to see it anyway.......
Snafu, I think that's actually a woman, not the kid. However, there is a disturbing scene involving sex with a child in the film itself.
How about we just don't talk about that?
Srsly, y'all need to stop bumping this thread! The idea of this film ruined my appetite all weekend!
I wouldn't call him "dreamy". He's a stud!
Seems like the son of the Snuff films of the 80's. Be as shocking as you can
I once saw a movie called El Topo . That was downright weird & bloody.

If you're referring to Snuff, the exploitation film that kicked off an urban legend that refuses to die, that was released in 1975.

FindingNamo, I think Mr. Roxy is talking about a film titled El Topo. Here's its imdb link:

I really, really wish I hadn't looked up info on The Serbian Film. What little I've seen fed my morbid curiousity enough to make me know I don't want to see any more of that, and I now wish I hadn't seen what I have of it. I don't guess any kittens are harmed in it though, right?
Still think I could watch The Human Centipede. It looks gross and weird but sort of funny too. Not sure I want to pay first run / On Demand price for it though. I can wait.
