Yay, someone else who loved The King and I! I used to dance around and sing "Getting to Know You" and "Shall We Dance" all the time, I'm sure it was pretty obnoxious, too.

My mother tells me I went through a period where I was obsessed with Jungle Book and I remember repeated viewings or Snow White, both of which we still own on vhs. Other movies that I loved to rent from the library were the Sound of Music, Pippi Longstocking, The Swan Princess, and Thumbelina. In this version of Thumbelina from 1994, she rode around on a bee with the prince, and there were evil frogs who tried to kidnap her or something. They scared my little sister. I'd like to rewatch that movie now, if I can find it anywhere.

Justagirl - that made me giggle. I was obssessed with the cast recording of MY FAIR LADY when I was very young, so I walked around saying, "Damn, damn, damn, damn, DAMN!" all the time
