I replay Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts 2 at least twice a year, can't get enough of 'em. I can't wait for Birth By Sleep (need to work on getting a PSP first...).
I had to quit Kingdom Hearts because the Tarzan level was impassible and it was making me VERY cross. Maybe they ballsed up the European version, I'm not the only one I know who couldn't get anywhere with it.
I'm back on Dark Chronicle again. Mostly. Except my sister just lent me Professor Layton and Pandora's Box, so I'll be playing that obsessively for the next two days. I <3 Professor Layton, and he's top of my list should anyone ask me the ol' "which 5 people, living or otherwise, would you invite to your hypothetical tea party?" chestnut. Especially since he's gone a bit Dark Chronicle himself and is brewing tea for everyone he comes across!
Doodle, we just got a new remote that has that motion sensor thing included.
Let me know if it's more fun playing with more people, and I'll hold off getting one for now. We just got 2 new games (Pokemon and Bakugan - obviously for Henry) so we probably won't get anymore for a little while anyway.

I've spent my life mooching off of other people's consoles because as a kid, my parents wouldn't by me one, and now my roommate has them, so I'm golden. :)
So I'm just going to second the love for Lego Batman, Elite Beat Agents, and LittleBigPlanet. (How can you resist a game that's narrated by Stephen Fry? How?) Also, Beatles Rock Band has become a total staple for us - my roommate and I have the harmonies on some of the songs down well enough to sing them a capella. Now we just need a third so we can get all the Triple Fabs. :)
And I haven't seen it mentioned here, but one of the most frivolously fun games I've played for the DS is Cooking Mama. Yes, I had entire days where I just alternated between video game cooking and real cooking. I'm just that sad.
Right now, I'm playing Kingdom Hearts on the PS2. I'm on The Little Mermaid level trying to beat giant Ursala.....it's REALLY hard! I'm not a huge gamer (my brother is a HUGE one), but occasionally I find a game that I really want to get through. Kingdom Hearts is one of them. I'm determined to beat it! :)
Seaweed, I would suggest going off and leveling up before you battle Ursula. As your level increases she'll become easier to beat. She's suchhhh a pain in the ass when your level isn't high enough. Try your best to swim right behind her head and beat the hell out of her, and when she opens her mouth and sucks you in, use Mermaid Kick to get away.
Also, for those having trouble with Deep Jungle (Tarzan), let me know what the issue is and maybe I can help!

"Right now I am just patiently waiting for StarCraft II."
I said this, in this thread, on February 17, 2009... I am still waiting.

I've stayed loyal to the Nintendo systems through the years solely for the Zelda series. Even now when I go home for a visit, most of my downtime is spent replaying them, since my Gamecube (eek, I'm horribly old-fashioned) is still there.
I also dabble in the World of Warcraft. However, it's much harder to keep up with that while I'm on the road, as it seems to not like hotel networks all that much. Lots of disconnecting, often in the middle of something important, so I've given up trying for the most part, especially when there is no Ethernet cable and I'm just relying on wireless.
I LOVED Kingdom Hearts, but 2 was SO much story telling/slow moving non-playing time that I just didn't have the patience. After having the game on for over 30 minutes and not really DOING anything, I gave up on it.
Thanks for the tips Shbrt! I'm definately gonna try that!

Jasonf, don't every play Metal Gear Solid 3. Soooo many cutscenes. Good ones, for the most part, but damn there were a lot of them.

I LOVE the Kingdom Hearts games! Weez and I know what you're talking about, because I almost got so pissed of at the game when I got to that level that I was just going to put it away in storage and just forget about it, but then I finally got past it, and it just got better from there! I would have to say that Kingdom Hearts II is better than the first one though, especially since you don't really have to fly your Gummi Ship everywhere. I've recently been playing Super Mario Bros. Wii and it is WAY too easy, it's ridiculous. I really do enjoy seeing the different characters from the older Mario games though. I also am addicted to The Beatles Rock Band. Can not get enough of that game. I haven't touched my DS in a while, but I will get back to it sooner or later! The game that I am playing on that is Picross DS.
Oh and for anyone who loves Square Enix, Final Fantasy, and Kingdom Hearts, I suggest checking out The World Ends With You. It has such a great style of gameplay and it's just so much fun. The music is great and so are the characters.
I agree, jasonf. Those cutscenes were infuriating.
I don't mind some cutscenes - I loved the God of War games and those had quite a few, but KH2 was the slowest beginning to any game I've ever seen!
We just picked up Medieval Games for Wii -- not a bad mini-game pack (cute design, challenging games) but the load screens are crazy - like 15-20 seconds per screen and they're fairly frequent. Otherwise, it's a good group game (doesn't seem to be so good for one player).
We also just ordered the new Mario game - even if it is easy, looking forward to playing it!

still lovin mario kart
yay god of war 3! viva kratos! that was the reason my boyfriend finally caved and got a ps3! it's an amazing system, and now that the price as dropped i'd def suggest getting one, especially if you don't have a blu ray player already.
btw...i am loving this thread! we (my bf & i) have a 360, wii & ps3 (taryn - i also still have my genesis and about 15 games). current favorites: assassins creed 2, little big world, rabbids go home & worms armageddon on xbox acarde. i also love watching my bf play 'left for dead 2' with his buddies, i'm bad at shooters, so i don't play myself, but it's an awesome game!
thanks for starting this thread pirguaguy2!!
I love my Sega Saturn! Whenever I get pissed off at my Wii, I turn to my Saturn for comfort. I love playing my old Sonic the Hedgehog games, Panzer Dragoon, Nights into Dreams ( including the Christmas version!) and Clockwork Knight.
I also love The Sims games and love any Harvest Moon games. There's just something about making a separate life for yourself and looking after a farm and animals that's just so addicting.
I also still own my Dreamcast game system too. Very underrated system I must say, and too bad not a lot of games came out for it either.

I love my Sega Saturn!
unless you have played Guardian Heroes, you are not really a saturn fan. if you can get a 4-player tap (or more), saturn bomberman is also a blast (as i recall, up to 10 can play in one match).
no plants vs. zombies?
I love plants vs zombies! I'm also a huge Peggle fan...and have spent quie a few hours on Xbox live in peggle parties lol.
Does anyone play the uncharted games? I just finished the first one this weekend and started the second one. I LOVE these games. It's like someone finally made a good Indiana Jones video game...without Indiana Jones. I'm curious to see how the multiplayer is.
I'll take about 17 out of 20 please :)
