That's cool. My best friend has a butterfly similar to that, but it has cat eyes. Sounds funky but is really pretty.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, Part 12

I want to get a tattoo of some vague element of a Joan Miró painting. Probably an eye, but who knows. Probably on the back of my neck. I should get it sometime this year, a good endcap to the most irresponsible year I've ever spent.

Adam Pascal is a bad influence, you guys. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, Part 12

theres a reason they say you shouldn't get a tattoo of someone's name unless they are related by blood or are dead

lol, when my friend got her tattoo, her boyfriend was like "no names, no numbers, portraits" heh.

She got angel wings on her back, but she drew them herself. I'm jealous, I wish I could draw well enough to want something that I'd drawn tattooed on my body forever!

I suggest not getting a tattoo that someone had in a movie. I.e., that girl who got the Idina ass tattoo. She'll definitely be regretting that one.

I thought about getting my brothers initials (he died) but his initials were J.I.P. and i decided that wasn't a great tattoo to have lol

one of my tats is my husband's name. he has my name too. its been 17 years and so far so good. also, I designed a tattoo for him of our daughter's name. it looks good if I do say so myself.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, Part 12

Oh yeah, I don't think names are a bad idea if it's something like that. But for my friend -- it was her freshman year in college and she was a little indecisive so he was like any name that you get, you'll be sick of in a week, you know?

My manager had her daughter and husband's name in one of those tribal symbols, sort of like Adam's. It looked really nice. But my other boss's husband got a portrait of her with her name on his arm, and it looked really scary! I was like "Ahh.."

Adam doesn't have anything close to a tribal symbol tattoo, other than they're both black. They're just letters with squiggles attached. Tribal tattoos make me cry, mainly because they're so widespread (and in my opinion, not appealing) with no real reason to be for those not living on the Marquesas Islands.

I think angel wings tattoos are cute, but I feel like I'd be imitating too many people.

my brother had a couple. he had one that symbolized me: it was a parrot on his left shoulder blade and he had a dagger on his right upper arm. the parrot one was cool but the dagger one wasn't that great. it was just as a cover-up for another tattoo but i forget what it covered.

You're right - Adam's arent tribal tattoos, I don't know why I said that, I'm so overtired. I feel the same way about Celtic knots though, and Chinese symbols.

My stepfather has a few - he has one with his name on it on his arm, I'm like why would you get that? We all know who you are! My mom swears its a coverup for an ex wife or ex girlfriend's name, but we will never get the truth out of him, lol

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, Part 12

My sister has 2 tatoos. One of them is her Chinese name. The other is a design that a friend of her drew. She getting 3rd one, also another design by her artist friend.

I don't think I could ever get a tatoo. I mean, I've heard it's painful. I don't really want something that's imprinted on my body forever. Knowing myself, I would pick somebody dumb & something I would regret.

Skipping back a bit, I just can't picture AIDA working as a movie. Maybe I just can't picture the set without it looking cheesy. I doubt they'd cast Broadway names, especially following up something like Hairspray using nearly all big names.

I got really excited about seeing Rent the other day and decided to buy another set of not so great tickets thinking it was for opening night. I was in a rush and clicked the wrong date. That's what I get for rushing and being impulsive.

When are the seats for????

I wasn't going to get Opening night seats because i got GG closing tickets for the day before...I may be changing my mind. I really don't care where I sit that night, as long as I am there.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, Part 12

They're for the 31st (in the last row of the theater), which is fine because I wasn't set on going their first night. Just to let you know, there aren't any rear mezz tickets left for opening night, I checked! It's just so like me to go and make that mistake.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, Part 12

I know I just saw that too. The only seats popping up are full price in the front rows of Mezz. The promo code isn't working anymore either.

Oh well, I'll survive.
