I didn't bring anything with me to see Cary Shields because I had nothing that he could sign.
Except for body parts, right?
No, because he never sent her the CD.
The board ate my post! Sarah, we need your artistic talents! misschung said she wishes there would be a Raul Esparza in Our Town poster, and I thought of your Company drawing.
I don't like having people sign my clothes because the clothes get washed and it washes off (unless you don't plan on wearing them). For Rent, I might bring something different for Adam and Anthony to sign, but I'm pretty sure I'll just use the Playbill.

I was debating whether or not to take my window card out of the frame and have them sign that. I wonder if they are going to print new flyers or anything for their run. I'm not sure exactly what I'm going to do yet
Sorry to barge into a discussion but I found this really interesting video about RENT and how it inspires others; I thought you guys might like it!

My friend told me to take the "Rent Bible". I don't think she realized how big that thing is. :)

I know! People always bring that to sign, which is a great idea, but I'd just love to have something that I can frame. I always forget that Anthony signed my book, and when I open it, I'm like "oh, hi!" heh
It would be a nice idea to have Anthony sign his book. But, same as with the Rent Bible, it's too big to take around the city and in the theater all day.
Playbills are so convenient.
The first time I saw Adam, I considered bringing the RENT bible, but then I was like nah, that thing is huge, I'll look like an idiot. Well, I think I was one of the only people there WITHOUT it, lol.
If I stagedoor this time, I'll just get the playbill signed.

I think I probably will too just because it's likely to be a zoo. Not to dig up an old topic, but I really hope that they stagedoor on opening night. I was listening to some old rent audios last night and I got really excited that it's almost 2 weeks away!
I wonder if the crowds at the stage door will get smaller towards the middle of the run. I don't think I'd attempt it one of their first days. I don't have the patience for that- I'm horrible! But yeah, I'm with you misschung. At first I was really torn with their coming back, but now I'm just glad that we all have the chance to see it since most of us were too young back in '96.
I can't wait to hear about it! I hope they stagedoor the matinees as well. If not, I'll have to find another way to meet Adam and Anthony.
If so, then I hope the crowds are smaller towards the middle of their run. I'm going around that time, so it would be nice.

The crowds might be less crazy at that time, but you never know. They aren't sold out yet, but the people who ARE there might make up for the lack of volume in the fans, lol.
Usually ppl don't stagedoor for matinees, which sucks, but is understandable. Maybe they will make an exception since it's such a limited run, though.
I really hope so. It's my only chance to meet them.
Last time I stage doored Rent (also a matinee, and most of the main cast members came out) after half an hour a tour bus came and a majority of the people there left. It was awesome. :) I should wish for another tour bus...
Thanks for the link, Brina! That was a really cool video.
Meh, I wouldn't want them to sign the playbills now. It's the ugly white ones that just say "Rent". I have like, a dozen of them; Adam and Anthony are too good to be lost in the mix.
I need to drag my Chess poster up for Adam. My sister will be thrilled, I'm sure.
I think they should get back the original Playbills with the OBC cast pictures, but that's wishful thinking.

I know, skittles. I wish they'd print new window cards or something with pictures of them both. But Guitar, I'm with you, I think it's wishful thinking. Maybe they will surprise us.
Chess poster! I watched the Chatterbox the other day, and I was like "I want Seth's tee shirt!"
Hee, those poor Chess posters.
Only 2 more weeks until we'll know. :)
