I just seem to be a late bloomer over all in life. I didn't hit my major growth spurt until about 16-17, which is when females usually stop growing, etc. And I never suffered from an outdoor allergy, EVER, until about 2 years ago, and now they just go nuts. And now with this dairy thing.
Adam could've just developed it (though that's unlikely). My friend wasn't allergic to dairy until just last year.
SWAK-I get the same reaction to fruits! Apples are the worst. I even had a reaction once to a fruit drink, which was odd.
Heh, I grew like an inch at 20.
Dairy is really bad for sinus and nasal problems. So in that sense, it's good that I can't eat it, I guess!
SWAK, yes, that's an allergic reaction -- and it's dangerous, so don't eat them.
I haven't grown in awhile. Last year I grew 1/3 of an inch, which is nothing.
I'm really excited for the stories that'll come out of Adam and Anthony's return.
I think Adam was only tested for food allergies recently, so maybe he didn't know about it before. Tink, I have a feeling that what you're experiencing is an intolerance rather than an allergy to dairy. A large percentage of the world population can't digest it properly once they get past childhood, but because northern Europeans have adjusted to it and made it a major part of their diet, dairy foods are more common than they perhaps should be. I've heard that dairy is an immune system irritant as well, making other allergies worse.
That's what I figured Chloe, since the only side effect is a sick nauseas feeling afterwards, but nothing that REALLY affects my life, just makes it uncomfortable. I'm going to try and get some over the counter meds to see if that helps out at all, before I go talk to the dr.

Chloe, I've heard that too about dairy being problematic for a lot of people. My stepfather refuses to drink milk because he says its not good for you. I really shouldn't have it as much as I do - I should bite the bullet and just opt for soy, but I think it's just like breaking a bad habit. I'm obsessed with ice cream
Tink, are you talking about Lactaid? If that helps I would think you can be sure that lactose intolerance is your problem.
I think that is it. When I was telling my mother about my problem, she said there was something over the counter to try. I haven't ventured out yet, so that could be it.
I am SO incredibly out of the loop on this thread (I can't keep up!), but I just wanted to pop in and say that I am super, super excited to see Rent on Thursday! Like, really.
Only a weekend away...
I'm so jealous that many people get to see Adam & Anthony.
I have to plan my sister's bachelorette party and she wants to go to a male strip club -- which is so not my cup of tea. I've actually been thinking she (and I) would be thrilled if I took her to NY to see Rent instead. I saw it on Broadway in 2002, but she's never been to NYC. But it's more money than I'm willing to spend unfortunately on the flight, hotel and tickets. But I would enjoy it a whole lot more! :)

Now if only we could somehow combine the 2 for you, and get Adam to volunteer at your sister's party...
Oh my god, that's hilarious!! LOL
And, she would love for Adam to volunteer! Hahaha!
I would have to invite myself to that party then!!!
Robin - Jenna & I will be there Tuesday.
robin-I'm not going until late August, but I'm excited to read the stories of their performances from those who went. It'll hold me over. :P
I think I'm more excited to hear people's stories when they come back on Monday night than to actually see the show. I still don't think it's hit me that I'm going to get to see this in a few days.
Are we going to try and stagedoor after? I'm looking at train schedules and just trying to figure out my plan.
Since I'm reading the stories, I can't wait until Tuesday.... :)
I was just reading back on the dairy conversation. I'm lactose intolerant to the point that it affects my daily life. Lactaid pills don't work either. But technically, I'm not allergic to it. My friends have an ongoing joke that I'll eat cheese knowing that I'll be sick for two days.
Tink- it's up to you (or depends what time they'd come out!) I have no burning desire to stagedoor, but I wouldn't object to it either.

**makes mental note not to have Jenna drink Kahlua & Cremes or any drinks like that. Straight bourbon for you from now on!**

I wonder how long they will take to come out after the show. I can't really miss the 12:10 otherwise I get stuck transferring and waiting around the station at all hours of the night
As long as Adam doesn't take to long on his hair...
Kidding, kidding. :P
ok, we'll play it by ear!
We'll let the first night crowd be our judge!
*wonders what Tink's talking about because she's never had a drink in her life.*
