I just think Adam belongs on Broadway. He's a good musician and he's doubtless improved his acting in the two movies, but he's a true standout on Broadway with that combination of voice and presence.
Hah, I thought he was joking when he said the show was called "Me and Larry." But... he was serious. Snaps for creativity after he had all those fans coming up with crazy band names on myspace.
I really want to know what they're going to call the album. Hopefully not "Me and Larry."

I hope they do a photoshoot in a steam room for the album cover.
I was waiting for someone to make a crack like that, lol!

please, we could be so lucky...
Well, the steam room holds a lot of significance for them, so perhaps they'd find it relevant.
He's named the album after a song in the past. Maybe he's so married to the idea of "Me and Larry" that they've actually written a song of the same title.

Would one need some sort of special camera to shoot in a steam room?
No. Here's what they do. Shoot the photos in a steam room with the steam off, send the pictures to me, and I'll Photoshop in the steam. And some towels, so they can be viably printed on a CD cover.
That sounds like a very viable and well thought out plan. You are so kind to volunteer to do all that valuable graphic work for free!
Steam room symbolism.

I can never sleep before these big trips to New York. I have to leave in an hour. See you all on Thursday.
Have fun!
I hope the album name is more creative than "Me and Larry". (And shouldn't it be "Larry and I"?)
have fun craww!
rofl GG. yes, yes it should be, but like we said before, Adam's cute enough to get away with it
Rent' fan fiction
If your physician has a "Rent" poster in her office, maybe you should back out the door, quietly.
Original cast members Anthony Rapp and Adam Pascal returned to Broadway on Thursday night for a six-week run in the East Village musical that made them famous.
The audience, clearly stocked with die-hard fans, whooped so loudly when the duo took the stage that the cast struggled to repress smirks.
I asked Rapp whether he had any nutty-fan stories.
"There was this one woman who befriended us," he said. "This person had a debilitating illness, she told us. She needed surgery. Then her mother e-mailed us to say she was in a coma."
But after the cast and the fan community rallied around her, it turned out she wasn't sick at all and was posing as her own mother in e-mails.
"It was all a lie to get close to the cast," said Rapp.
Gosh. What happened to her?
"She was a med student. She's a doctor now."

oh man...
I love that someone posted on the "should I see Rent or Spring Awakening" thread that the person should see SA, because you can get the gist of Adam and Anthony from the Rent movie.
that made me chuckle too
Well, that person is an idiot.

lol emcee. Well, to be fair - I see where they are coming from. But still, seeing them in the film is nothing like seeing them on stage. That's like passing up the opportunity to see Liza and Joel in Cabaret because you've seen the film version.
The film is so different than Rent on stage. And, in Adam's case, anyway, the performances are different.
That Rent fan fiction is so sad, why would anyone do that?
I saw that too Misschung. I do see where there getting at, but Spring Awakening will probably tour soon; and it's highly unlikely any OBC Rent cast member will return anytime soon; so that is pretty special to see you know?
I never check the grosses, but had to take a look today. Rent played at capacity last week and nearly doubled its grosses. Way to go, boys.
Heh. I see where they're coming from, too, misschung, but the assumption is just... well, wrong, IMO. They're so much more powerful on stage than on screen -- as talented as they are, their performances on screen cannot match what they're doing on stage. You can't get that visceral connection with a moving image the way you can when something is happening in real time right in front of you.
Heh, I guess the producers got what they wanted.
woohoo!!
YES! Good for them!
That's wonderful, go Rent!
