That's quite a tan he's got going on.
That, tink, or I'm *really* pale...
I forgot last night even happened until just a few hours ago. Then I finally got on BWW, saw the thread on the main board (that was just mysteriously deleted) and it all came back to me. You know it's a weird night when you end up blacking out SOBER.
A thread popped up on the main board??? Oy, I could only imaging the snarky remarks that were posted.
I woke up this morning with that kind of "no, that didn't happen...." feeling. Last night was SUCH a whirlwind for me. I was juggling like nine iChat windows, processing it all.
It's so, so ironic that this all went down on the same day that skittles decided to peek in that old thread.
**sends the angry RENT villagers with flaming pitchforks in skittles direction**
Hah, I keep trying to convince myself that Raul still has vestiges of stage makeup in my picture with him. I actually think I'm just really pale, too. Well, Adam's technically living in California, so perhaps he's adapted to fulfill the tan standards of beauty there.
I hope some sort of confirmation comes in soon for the Adam/Anthony return before things start getting too crazy. No way am I buying tickets for August on the possibility that they may/may not be there.
Ooh, Raúl in makeup...
Indeed. At the stagedoor, I overheard these two men debating quite vocally about whether or not he was wearing eyeliner.
Heh! I'm sure at least a little bit on stage, no?
Oy, I know. Last night, I wanted to be skeptical, because it was so outlandish at first, but I also had that thread dangling over my head, so I didn't want to say anything to make me look stupid 2.5 years after it came true.
I'm really not sure what to think but its bugging me-I want to know so badly! Hopefully something will come out saying whether or not its true...
Ok, I was just going on the first few posts that I read about those girls bitching at Lexi for not believing them. I guess, I'm kinda saddened by it because I really think that there are better things out there for them. And I also think it will get a lot of backlash, I mean if we're unsure about it, think of the field day the critics will have. But at the same time, I may actually have an excuse to get myself to New York. If only I could convince my parents of the importance of this. They're still stuck in "What's the difference of a show in New York and one in Toronto." "You already saw Rent, why do you need to see it again." "What if you're just talking to an elaborate plot of creeps that want to kidnap you and turn you into a sex slave"
"blah, blah, blah"
"What if you're just talking to an elaborate plot of creeps that want to kidnap you and turn you into a sex slave"
Never on the first meeting, but maybe on the second!
Damn, how did they get on to us?
I doubt if the critics will have much to say one way or the other. There will no doubt be the usual sniping from Broadway people, but that's a very small community. Of course it's too bad that there isn't a new project for Adam to do right now, but I'll be happy to have the chance to see him on stage again, and if he needs to make some money right now, I'm glad there's a way he can do it.
My parents are pretty swift when it comes to secret internet plots.
I guess I just kinda feel sorry that this is the only opportunity for him at the moment. If only the world could love him as much as we do. And by critics, I totally meant the Broadway people because they have all the say :P
Oh, THOSE critics. You're absolutely right.
I can see the Rent offer having one big advantage over any other possibilities, and that is the six week deal. I'm sure he'd have to think twice about taking on a six month contract for a regular run in a show and being away from home that long.
Tell your parents that we'll only kidnap you if they don't let you come!
i think it can be a very profitable (not just monetary but other ways as well) for both parties if marketed correctly. If not, then I can see it have many disadvantages. We will have to wait and see. I can already see the AP Love thread section in the crowd on the first night they are back though!
I think I'd walk there.

this is going back a few posts, but when Adam said he hated doing TV, was he just talking about Cold Case?
My mom thinks BWW people will cut me up and throw me in an alley. If she only knew they were from online...
These pictures from last night popped up on Facebook, so I'll post for the people who don't have accounts.
Jeez, I feel like such a picture whore lately.
Hell, I'd walk from Minnesota. Maybe we should charter some sort of bus for us non-New Yorkers, Sarah. Though if your parents are anything like mine, I doubt that would reassure them sufficiently.
I think so, misschung, because that's about the extent of his TV-role experience (successful, that is).
I'll walk with you, we'll conserve the enviroment
I like the buzz cut, very shnazzy~
The new hair is not as good as the last hair. I liked that better... It's funny that Adam can't decide on his hair. :)
