He's singing Jason Robert Brown?!?! Exciting! Yay full band.
oh my gosh, this is so exciting! anywhere he plays in california, we're there. i wonder if larry is included in this "full band". i can't wait for the dates to be released!
Are we still assuming the gig on May 9th is just him and Larry? I kind of hope it's this new show.

I visited the Booking Group's website and didn't find any additional information, so I suppose we just have wait for official dates and locations.
I'm excited. I'm probably one of the only people who would prefer to see him perform his original material provided that he would mix the setlist up a bit. That doesn't ever seem to happen, so this sounds great.

There are no dates other than the ones that have been there (on MySpace)already, so I wonder when these will be. And where...

Emcee, to answer your question, I'm pretty sure it's the show with Larry. The show is listed on Larry's website.

That's what I thought, and then I figured that maybe Larry was in the band. I'm glad he's playing with the band again, though, because I'm hoping we'll be able to see him sing some of his music that he can't (or doesn't) do with the scaled-down arrangements.

I remember Adam saying at one point that this other show would be comprised of exclusively Broadway and cover material, so I doubt that he would bring his own solo work into the mix. I suppose he could have changed his mind, though, and I'd like to see that as well, even if he's admitted that he doesn't feel as connected to the music when playing with a full band.
This must be the new press shot; it accompanied the Voices for Rent article as well. Sorry for stretching out your page. He looks vaguely like a cro-magnon man, but otherwise, I approve.
Oh, right, I do remember him saying both of those things. He's great to watch on stage either way, but there's just so much more energy between the audience and the stage with the full band, for some reason.

ooo I am so excited to hear this news! So maybe I will be able to see him AFTER BB Kings on this tour. Fingers crossed...
Oooooooh...BIG picture! *happy*
Ooh, I'm excited that this Broadway/cover show finally seems to be happening! It seems like he's been talking about it for over a year.

Wow, Craww. I was expecting you to yell at me for exceeding your personal pixel limit for images posted on a message board.
Thanks for the picture, Lexi, and for that bulletin, GG. What a lot of news there's been lately. Updated On: 4/26/07 at 08:30 PM
I'd be really interested to hear Adam play with a full band as much as I love the scaled-down sound. The prospect of all these Broadway covers is also quite exciting, and I seriously hope his tour takes him somewhere in the MN vicinity.
I wonder what this band will consist of. I'd think to play those Broadway tunes it would be a little different from the standard guitar, bass and drums rock set up.

that's true. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
I hate waiting
Very interesting news. I just hope I can make a show, sounds really cool. I love that photo!!!!
Awesome picture! I'm so excited!
I'm a little out of it, so sorry if this has already been determined, but does anyone know where that bulletin about Adam's Broadway show came from? I know it was first posted on Voices for Rent, but how did that poster come by it?

yeah, they posted that it was from Voicesforrent
Odd that out of all the sites, that is where it would be announced. But maybe they are just buttering everyone up for the big RENT announcement.

I thought that was strange too. I mean it could have been announced somewhere else that we don't know about, you never know.
I was on vfr and I saw that on the bulletin thing, I was like ....what? hehe
Oh I see, I thought it was something posted on a message board rather than an official bulletin.
