I'm sure no one would have minded.
haha, that's an understatement. But it definetly would have been incongruous to have it in the final version of the show.
btw OT -I was listening to Cabaret today and I have decided that I definetly like Adam's version of "I Don't Care Much" more than Alan Cumming's version. At first I thought his tone was too rock sounding, but now I really like it. That's such a great song
Yes, Variety is a lot more reliable than IMDb or Wikepedia. However, it is true that there are a lot of projects that get pitched, have scripts written, go through casting, and then disappear into some sort of cinematic limbo.
It took me forever, but I finally found Adam's Aida nudity comment. It's from a Playbill interview when the show opened.
Speaking of exposing yourself, you show some skin up there, in your bare-chested scenes. Your two co-stars keep it on, but not you.
[Laughs] I wish I didn't have to take my shirt off, because I wouldn't have to go to the gym so much. It could be worse: in the original script, I had to take off all my clothes, but I said, "Wait a minute, come on here, now."

thanks, Chloe!
Since they mentioned it, I always thought it was strange that she keeps everything on after Elaborate Lives, and he has his shirt off. I just thought it was done that way to illustrate his being more vulnerable at the time, but who knows.
It's funny that he says he doesnt want to hit the gym when he used to be a trainer. I guess he's all dumbbelled out

Cybele updated her blog....sounds like the rumors are true...here is a small piece of it......
"I'll come back next week and write a proper post, but in a nutshell, I'm single parenting again for 5 weeks while my husband is working out of town. I've been absentee due to Lime.com deadlines, working on a new cookbook, a little dedication to my other career as a drama writer, and familial illness. My 3 year old has the dreaded hand foot and mouth disease. Don't ask.... it sounds worse than it is, but it still requires A LOT of attention for a couple of weeks."

interesting about the 5 week thing.
aw, poor little guy. that thing is a pain in the ass
I've heard of that disease, but what exactly happens if you catch it? Poor little dude, hope he feels better
The pictures are really cute (of their children). I love the second one: it reminds me of my little sister when she was...little-er (being the grammatically correct person that I am). :)

you can probably find the symptoms from a google search - its like a rash/blister type thing if I'm not mistaken. But I think its super contagious.
The pictures are cute, I love his temporary tattoo - following in Dad's footsteps. Did you notice the writing on their emergency nametag things? So cute.
But yeah, some kids don't do Disney well. The lines are just SO long for kids that age to stay sane. Hell, even my mom gets cranky after the first five minutes.

I'd be ornery if my lollipops with artificial coloring were confiscated, too.
Although, I thought those looked amazing when I was four or so, but when my parents finally bought me one, I decided they tasted absolutely disgusting. Not because of the artificial coloring, but because the amount of sugar in those things will literally burn taste buds off your tongue. I loved Disneyland/Disneyworld, though. Sadly, I'd probably even go back at 19.

Gee, nga8, I thought you were never, ever posting on the Adam thread again, because you got pissy when someone called you on your selfishness after badmouthing Adam at Rent 10 just because *you* didn't get his autograph.
Hand, foot and mouth disease is rashes and blisters, usually in your mouth and on your hands (nah, really? ). It's pretty common in children.
I've never been to Disney World.
I haven't been either. My family went to Disneyland several times in the past, and it always seems to take me weeks to get "It's a Small World After All" out of my head.
Can I just say that at 21, I'm still obsessed with those lollipops? In fact, there's one in my kitchen right now!
Disney World is my happy place, for a lot of reasons, but mostly because their chefs are some of the best trained in the world for dealing with food allergy and dietary concerns. Their knowledge and willingness to accomodate is unbelievable. Normally, when I eat out, I usually just get something totally plain, like dry pasta, but the people at Disney go out of their way to make sure you're not living on food that tastes like cardboard. I would go for a week and just restaurant hop, eating to my heart's content, since eating "normal" food in a restaurant is such a rarity for me.
I haven't been to Disneyland either.
I've been to both Disneyland and Disneyworld, and actually liked Disneyland better. It wasn't really crowded because it was an off time, so it was fun. I can see why Adam's sons wouldn't like it, though- when it is crowded it's torture.
I went to Disneyland last year the day after they premiered the Pirates of the Caribbean 2 film. It was PACKED, because a rumor was going around that Johnny Depp was there to open the remodeled Pirates ride (but I didn't see him). It was pretty fun to ride the new attraction; and some of the added scenes were really swell!
The last time I was in Disneyland, there was a guy dressed up like Johnny Depp in his Pirates costume, and people could pay to take pictures with him. It's hardly the same, but the lines were nonetheless crazy.
I always feel sort of intrusive looking at pictures of their kids. Those poor kids look miserable. I didn't get to go to Disneyworld until I was in 9th grade, and it was still magical for me. I can't imagine not liking it.
I've been in the library all day, it's unbelievably hot in here, and I think I'm going crazy.

I have only been to Disneyworld twice, not Disneyland.
Its scary how much she reminds me of my mom - my mom would totally confiscate my lollipop too. She'd say you can have it for a little while and then that's it. I think I love sugar so much bc she was Cybele-like the entire time I was growing up, lol
Can anyone provide a link for that blog???
Also, news was posted that Gwen is returning to RENT, so this whole Adam/Anthony thing is starting to become more valid looking each day.
I've been to Disneyworld 3 times. I haven't gone east in the States yet, so I've been nowhere near Disneyland. My grandmother used to own a condo in New Smyrna Beach, so we'd visit her every year, we're all still very sad that she sold it.
I hope the Adam/Anthony rumors are confirmed soon. I hate not knowing if something is true or not.

I know, it's really annoying to not know. I was suprised when I heard Gwen's coming back.
Their kids are adorable though, and they seem to be very un-annoying, from the pics of them that I have seen.
The whole Gwen thing was on such a short notice. I won't be able to go see her. Hopefully if Adam and Anthony come back, they'll let us know more ahead of time.
Double post, but the following was on Voices For Rent:
