Yeah; or once we have tickets, one of us can call and make a reservation for however many to guarantee we all get a table together.

cool. I know it is going to be a pricey evening, but i think it will be so worth it. I technically haven't spent a single penny on Adam this year, so I shouldn't feel too guilty, unlike 2007 where I spent more than I was to admit!

I'm probably going to put this with Raúl's Philharmonic concert debut in the "graduation gift to self" category. The money all comes from the same place, but at least it feels more justifiable.

Feinstein's is like, in the $40 range, right? So it's not too bad.

I think there are cheap tickets, right? My friend got ours with a discount through the member/supporter pre-sale thing. My decision on that one was kind of impulsive and an out-of-character shot at planning way in advance, but really, I wouldn't miss that for the world.
I think it's forty plus a (rather large?) food and drink minimum.

$43.05 or something for the ticket and then $25 food/beverage minimum. Definitely not BAD but can get pricey if you do food and alcohol.

Perhaps I will just do alcohol.

woah, I didn't know about the $25 tack on. The drinks are probably in the $5 range each anyway, right?

maybe for a soda, but at most "minimum" places i have ever been a drink is $10 plus.
ETA - Feinstein's is usually like $40+ as a minimum, but they lowered it for this show

I was sad that I couldn't drink at BB Kings, being that it was like, mere days after my 21st. But I was sick with such a monster of a cold, and on like every cold medication in the book. So that wouldn't have been such a great combination.
If I drink too much, though, I'll likely just fall asleep. Which wouldn't be any fun.

I'll keep you awake, don't worry. I'm good at stuff like that! I usually don't care if there is a way to meet actors after, but I'm curious now. It would be cool to get an updated picture with him, esp. everyone being all dressy and all.

I think there is. I don't know if there's a stage door or anything, though; I've only been there once and I didn't stay, but when I saw Stokes there a few years ago, I'm pretty sure he came out afterward to mingle and whatnot.

The menu itself there looked pretty pricey. Well, I'll be drinking soda. The dinner and show sound expensive, but it's cheaper than going to dinner and seeing a show. That's how I'd look at it at least.

Yeah, exactly. It's a lot, but to do once, it's not so bad. And it's new material!

I just want to request that he wears the same outfit he wore in Chess....black pants, button down, suit jacket. and wifebeater underneath just rekindle my adoring flame that is dying out!

hello all-
I know some of you read Adam's blogs, he mentioned he really likes Panic at the Disco. I watched them on SNL last night and I thought they were pretty good, not great. I guess music is very subjective, like everything else. I wonder how the concert went tonight... I'd love to see some new dates posted...

I'm not really wild about Panic at the Disco either...but your right, music is VERY subjective.

That's great, about the Chess recording. I can't wait until it comes out, then.
Panic at the Disco is okay, not my favorite band, but they're better than a few others. I don't listen to their music a lot (I do have a few songs by them, though), but I get a kick out of their song titles.

I really hope that turns out to be true, about Chess.
I've never really gotten the appeal of Panic! At the Disco. But I have weird music taste.
