I'm just surprised it wasn't rewritten to address the Global Warming crisis. Maybe an extra verse that uses the Shining of the sun through the crumbling defenses of the Ozone layer as a metaphor for a relationship that needs mending.
Some of the changes near the beginning aren't bad, but the change to the bridge is a definite melodic downgrade.

I actually don't mind the faster tempo at the beginning, but after hearing the whole thing, I hope the old arrangement is on the album.

On Adam's site, a song was added to the old "vault" songs called "Breakdown".

Interesting insider type article about talent agency shake ups over in hollywood land, and Patti & Adam are listed as two "top broadway actors" represented by one of the firms down at the bottom.

This is what happens when I am bored...

Everyone! I've heard confirmation from at least 4 different people that Adam's concert in Melbourne will NOT be a Me and Larry show. Apparently Larry couldn't make it on the 18th for whatever reason, so instead of cancelling the show, Adam made it a Broadway State of Mind show. I'm totally stoked about that, since I'm going to that show and I REALLY wanted to see the B'way State of Mind show. But I just thought you all should know.

well i guess we will have a song list idea before Feinsteins...which I dunno is kinda disappointing. Leaves some of the exciting mystery out of it.

Wait, why does it take the mystery out of it? Because it's a Broadway State of Mind show instead of his new songs?

yeah, the mystery of what songs would be included in the BSoM show. If he does his first BSoM show in FL next week, then we will know the basic set list before the shows in June, which were expected to be the first.

Oh, gotcha. I haven't been following all of this very closely at all, and today I got stuck babysitting an extra kid, so I'm a tad slow

It's kind of odd that Larry would be able to make it for the 17th and not the 18th, but I'm sure that whoever has tickets for the 18th must be really excited about it.
I just read that they painted the outside of the Nederlander today. Now I regret not taking pictures of some of the exceptionally bizarre things written on there (witch Roger anyone?) but I'm sure it looks a million times better. Hopefully it stays clean, but I have a feeling that as the show gets closer to closing, it's going to look as bad as it did before they painted over it.

Yeah... wouldn't it have been smarter to wait until AFTER the show closes? People are just going to write on it again!

Every time I'm in the area I say I'll take pictures of it but I never do. I guess now I'll never have a picture of the drawing of Mark and Roger holding hands.
I've been trying to procrastinate in every possible way tonight, and came across this...Apparently Adam's kids "love their junk."

Wouldn't it have been smarter to paint over it AS SOON AS PEOPLE STARTED?! Of COURSE people are going to write on it again because after two and a half years of unpunished graffiti, people think it's the norm. The producers deserve to waste their money due to their own stupidity.

I doubt he'll sing at the Birdland thing, though; it's like a week before Chess. I might go regardless. I really liked his music when I heard it.
