I'm not going to drive myself nuts over this closing tickets thing. It looks like you can't get them, so whatever.

It's just odd because Adam and Anthony are doing the tour the following year, so it's like, not really ending? I mean I know it's ending at the Nederlander, but it seems like a false sense of closure somehow.

I totally agree with you about that false sense of closure, misschung. I'm honestly surprised about the extension, even though it almost seemed inevitable that it'd happen. I thought I'd be sadder about it closing. Maybe it's because I'm still kind of Rent-ed out from last year. My own experience with the show ended on such a high note, and to me, the whole last A&A show felt like a closing almost.

I think they will open those three days for public sale once all the trades in are done. Because I think it is the last two days in May and June 1st that can exchange.

I was a bit surprised to see the extension, actually, and I'm really glad I didn't buy tickets to the closing date. I don't think I'll be seeing Rent again though, so it really hasn't affected me otherwise, other than the initial surprise.

I read somewhere that the male stripper guy from this season of American Idol went and auditioned for Rent not too long ago. I guess one of the pre- requisites to join the cast is to either do really well on American Idol or have some sort of sex scandal that helps you get voted off the show.

Tink, I think that Angel's Santa outfit would clash with Clay's complexion, so I doubt he would take the role.

Tink, I think Maureen might be too much for Clay to handle. Pink Fuzzy Bra girl? His hair is long enough to get in some pigtails so it might just work.

I'm really glad it extended as I'm planning to be there in August. I don't know if I'm actually going to see it, I was more concerned about being able to take the traditional fan-girl photo in with Nederlander Adam. I was planning on using it as my grad photo :P

Cartwheel has that search notice thing where it emails you if his name is posted on the boards. I know AbbaRabbit has it for Adam Rapp. *waits for her*
