Yes, I'm anxious about the reviews as well.
I'm sure if they feel it is appropriate, some changes will be made. Hopefully nothing too drastic.

God, taking a baby to the crazy ass Rent stage door. What a monumental dumbass.
Pity the Child, lol. I just hope he has the good sense to accept it, if a true staging of Chess is mounted and he's offered the role. He needs to get into a Broadway show anyway, I bet the only way he could sell Blinding Light would be to peddle it directly to fangirls at the stage door like Tim Howar did.

Is there rumor of an actually staging of Chess being produced in the US?
That is pretty expensive for an album whose proceeds aren't contributing to any sort of charity organization. Still, I think his modest set of fans will pay that regardless.

Just can across a change on Adam's site. It appears that the show at Feinstein's is now "Me and Larry" instead of Broadway State of Mind. Do you think that we can get a refund for the tickets since the program is now changed?

Ugh, is it really? I was really looking forward to seeing Adam on stage again, but I'd been able to justify the price tag because it was new material. I want to see Adam, but don't know if I could in good conscience shell out that kind of cash for something I've seen a number of times already.

... how confusing. But yeah, that seems like the best way to try and get an answer. I'm not sure calling Feinstein's would help.

Seriously. I haven't spent that much on a single CD EVER. Even in the mall in the late 90s I think it was always about a dollar under that.
Rent OBCR. At the mall. But that's 2 CDs and two and a half hours of music. Good music.
Yeah, I doubt they'd do anything too drastic, since it is just a concert and people will go in expecting the show as they're used to it.
Well, there's really no Chess "as they're used to it". Nearly every staged production has had a different book. As long as the major songs are in there, they'll know.

Sh*t, I'm bummed about Feinstein's. I was looking forward to fresh material. What gives?
