"Interesting" is just what nice Adam fans say when they mean "awful".

Reposting it, since it's at the end of the last page. So you can all bask in the glory of the awful awful CD cover. (...apparently me and Small Cheese had the same idea.)

I don't really like the cover that much, especially because it says "Me and Larry".
I don't think it's that bad, but I was expecting something totally different. It kind of looks like what would be the cover of a Christian/Rock band or something. I don't really get it...
So wait, what is on the cover? Is that Adam? I still can't believe it says "Me and Larry."
Could they put their names on there any more times?
They could have worn those t-shirts you get airbrushed in rainbow colors at theme parks.

God (no pun intended), it really does. Like the sun is symbolic for Jesus.
Is the picture on the cover supposed to be a child? I can't really tell.
When I looked at the new site, I ended up going over to Larry's website. I hadn't been over there in ages. I'd never seen this pic before..not sure if it's new or not.

Wow, I'm so disappointed. It all seems like it's one big joke, and sadly it isn't.
I have never seen that picture before.
That picture's new, I think, at least, I've never seen it before.
I also realized that I don't like the font used for the word "light". It doesn't seem to fit in...
I'm truly digging the new CD cover photo and the "blinding light" font choice. And I'm not on barbiturates.

The "Me and Larry" thing is just such an awful idea. Especially if it's, as it seems, a lot more of a collaboration than Larry just being backup or playing for him or whatever. The CD cover is pretty bad, but it's even worse with that logo up in the corner. At least it would look consistent with just their names across the bottom.

Too tasteful for gay porn. I like that picture of Adam.

Ooh, is this the portion of the thread where those with graphic design experience offer a legitimate critique?
The Blinding Light font choice may actually be the best part of the image. And yet it reminds me of those fonts I'd download off X-Files fansites to use in Roswell fan art back when I was 15.
The contrast between the black of the silhouette and the white of the light flair is just badly balanced. The light flair especially looks overdone. I also don't think the photo chosen for the silhouette is a very good photo to be used in silhouette, I think it's too blocky and doesn't give a compelling shape.
The yellow and blue coloration over the trees is overly saturated and clashing.
The Me and Larry logo is...well, it's too bad to even contemplate.
As creepy as Larry Edoff is, I think they'd have been better off choosing a good photo (preferably with no Larry-smile, because he looks like a serial killer) and going the simple text-on-photo route.
Just popping in to ask: what the hell?
If this is going to last (and I hope it doesn't) they need to start with a better band name. "Larry and I" does not count.

For the past 10 years I've been mentally assembling a playlist in my head called "European Shopping Mall Music". It's taken so long to assemble because (as of now) I only have 7 songs for it.
...Call Your Bluff would completely fit on that playlist, if I could stand listening to it ever again.
I'm refraining from listening to the songs until the CD comes out. For some reason I just want to wait until then...so I'll take everyone else's word for it. I really hope the CD is good. I'm still hoping...
Interesting note on Adam's past cds, the Mute cd just sold on ebay recently for 10.50. a month before, the same version sold for 357.00. those were the ones released in Japan, new, sealed in the package. Its all a matter of timing with Ebay.
I am currently waiting for the "world broadcast premere" of RENT on FX. I'm glad its finally being played on network television.
.... $357???
Why on earth?
