Christina, what's creepy is you referring to yourself as Craww, and as Christina as if you are two different people in one.
That's not creepy, that's THE INTERNET. Craww is an internet handle. Like luvtheEmcee or LePetiteFromage or MotorTink, all examples that you'll see RIGHT ON THIS PAGE. Christina is my real name, which is the name I used in the emails that Adam and I exchanged right after the site went up. I figured I would pay him the respect of giving my opinions with a real name, and a name that he could connect to previous exchanges.
I wouldn't be shocked if Brooke2 was a random pseudonym as well.
It's no more creepy or excessive for me to follow Adam Pascal's career than it is for you to. For the people here to. For the fans on AdamPascalMusic.com and his MySpace to. At one time I was a fully devoted and genuine fan. Then he behaved towards a friend of mine in a manner that was absolutely reprehensible, so I lost respect for him. I still follow his career because a part of me is still interested in it (like Chess, I didn't stop liking him in Chess just because he's a complete ass). Also, because of bitterness, which may not be entirely healthy but it's a hell of a lot more healthy than YOU following MY posts so obsessively. YEARS, you say? Does this go back to rentsecrets? If you know so much about my opinions of Adam, why don't you compile a list for me of all the really awful things I've said? I'm sure with a little more cyberstalking you could pull it out. It's not like we all forget you posting someone's full name, to ridicule them for something completely unrelated to Adam, because you were bitter over things they said here.
As for the discussion board, all I have to say is, it's unfortunate he had to do that, but it's probably for the best. He's got other things to do besides play moderator.
Did you even read the posts that got the thing deleted? There was no moderation needed on that board. He deleted it because I HURT HIS FEELINGS, pure and simple. That is pitifully immature behavior, and illustrates so perfectly why his career is failing and will continue to do so.

Adam desperately needs to grow a thicker skin.
And Brooke2 -- seriously creepy and unnecessary. Craww even said in her initial post about it that Adam singled her out as the "reason" (psh) that the discussion board was deleted. She wasn't hiding behind anything. You're obviously the one with too much time on her hands.

wow
Adam needs to...grow up. Honestly, if he's going to put himself out there as an artist then he needs to learn to take criticism, not pretend that it didn't happen. Besides, Me and Larry is something that does deserve criticism-the way Adam's going about it, anyway-because so far it doesn't seem to be doing his career any better. And he's pushing away his fans...
I post very rarely, but I just want to say this. Craww, your posts, at least to me, come off as creepy and obsessive. I can understand not liking someone, I can understand being disappointed by something. It happens, BUT...you move on. It seems you are taking what you perceive as his shortcomings way too seriously, and personally.

I think that in general, there's a lot of growing up that needs to be done, and unfortunately, that's not confined only to Adam. Some uncomfortable things have occurred on this thread and on Adam's site over the past few months, but it seems everyone's at a loss for a mature way to deal with it.
Offering genuine and thoughtful criticism is one thing, and I agree that Adam should take that to heart, especially as it comes from some of his most genuine fans. However, the sometimes excessive perseveration about less than significant points on this thread and on Adam's own site, for that matter, to me, doesn't seem deserving of a mature response from Adam.
Petite - I wasn't a big Josh fan before hearing Actors Fund Chess, but that intrigued me and I ended up listening to his Christmas album a lot this past season.
ETA - before the board was deleted did anyone ever receive a definitive answer on the Feinsteins show? Just wondering.

I am very glad you finally admitted your true agenda: retaliation for how he wronged your friend.
Ever since that incident, your posts have all been the same negative bashing.

Sh-k-Boom lists it as Broadway State of Mind, too.
I have one of Josh's CD's, and I like it. Most of it is in Italian, but I don't really mind. I think it's called Closer.
I have 2 of Josh's CD's- Awake (which I'd recomend too anyone, it's amazing) and Noel (which is lovley at Christmas, if a little redundant for the other 11 months)
I adore his voice, but i think Adam is a better actor, and is far better looking, Josh has the sort of Thom Yorke (Radiohead) vibe going on in the looks department.

...and yet you're so deeply insignificant, I can't for the life of me remember any of your posts. Besides this latest one (wherein I had every right to rant at length, considering he singled me out in an extremely negative way) what posts have been particularly obsessive and creepy?

Agenda is kind of a strong word. I mean, at the end of the day, hating Adam Pascal is but a blip on my internet hobby radar. I spend about as much time on it as I do reading LiveJournal communities devoted to stupidity, or bad fanfiction, or TelevisionWithoutPity, or taking online tests, or reading my email, or the entire rest of BroadwayWorld.com.
Tell me, Brooke2. Do you even know what this incident was? I don't see how you can judge my reactions to it if you don't. Enlighten me.

True, but that has nothing to do with him deleting his message board over a case of internet butthurt, so...I don't know if I'm quite getting you.

I agree. I actually wasn't commenting on this most recent incident so much as other things that have been written on this thread and on Adam's site prior to it's hasty, premature death.
I didn't even read the thread you posted on apm before it was deleted, Craww, but I know that you make thoughtful and intelligent criticism, and doubt that his response was completely appropriate. However, posting graphics like the one above are just exacerbating the problem, IMO. I'm not going to play den mother to the thread, but given what's happened in the past on here, it's clear that Adam has access to this thread and that posting things like that for him to see aren't going to remedy the situation. But if your goal is just to be playful, no harm in that, I suppose.

But it's funny. Also, self deprecating, since the underlying subtext of the graphic is that it's silly to get worked up over internet drama because it's never actually important. And, honestly, my goal has always been to just be playful. It's no secret that a significant portion of this thread disliked me from day one, based on stuff from rentsecrets. It's hardly news that my sense of humor doesn't necessarily mesh with that of other Adam Pascal fans.
And if Adam sits around reading this thread, getting his feelings hurt over it, I think that's pitiful and I don't care from exacerbating it. Sorry.

One More Thing
Hello Folks. I feel I need to address this discussion board thing a but further. It really is not what this person Christina said specifically, so much as the tone in which she said it. You all know that I do enjoy the ribbing I take from my fans on this site. I encourage it! It makes me laugh.
What I don't enjoy however, is when what is said about me is said with anger, with venom, with tones of jelously and obvious desires for my failure. I don't understand that kind of person. The kind of person who thinks her twisted ideas about how I live my life, are her business. What my career aspirations may or may not be, and weather or not I should feel like a faliure....and I should...and I should... and I should...blah blah. That's my therapists job!!!You have some nerve coming here and speaking that way to me. I don't want you here. Go away! Please don't post here anymore under any name. Your words will give away who you are, no matter what you call yourself. ( im truly sorry to be so harsh if you are some young kid. But if you are, you need to grow up a bit.)
These kinds of people are not accepted here. I don't want your fanship, your money, don't buy my record(overpriced ofcourse), don't come to any of my shows. Go be a hater somewhere else....
Adam
...Oy.
Whoa.

Why can't he just leave well enough alone? What is he expecting to get out of this?
-trying to pretend above poster doesn't exsist-
Josh has nice hair...
