re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

Oh. I was assuming that those were taken at different points just because of how different he looks in the one Chloe posted. He looks so much younger in the one with just the three of them.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

I don't know how long they went under the name Wine and Vision (to hear Adam tell it, they changed names every few months), but if it was for a couple of years, there can be a lot of difference between, say, 16 and 18. There's no way to know how far apart those two W&V pictures were taken.

Around three years ago I got some random files labeled Wine and Vision, including Thrill of the Chase. It's weird to now see pictures with that name on them.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

It seems that Adam performed at the Ribbon of Hope ceremony:

I always get such a lump in my throat whenever they do a scroll with many of the names of people who have died from AIDS over the last 25 years or more. It's is a potent reminder of the human toll this disease has taken and still takes. This year, Adam Pascal of "Rent" performed his original song "I'm With You" as those names were shown and I wanted to bawl.

This is from a column called Out in Hollywood.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

... maybe because it wasn't open to the public?

I agree that listing his appearances wouldn't hurt, but the only purpose for that isn't so his fans can know where to go see him.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

I realize it isnt the only purpose, I dont believe that I implied that it was. If it wasnt open to the public I understand, but isnt part of the reason for having celebrity personalities at charity events so that the cause gets more recognition. I wouldnt of been able to be there for example but I would of followed a link supplied on his website (if it were) and found more out about the cause.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

I think things like this are good to be listed on a site because it shows a broader aspect of who he is. It should list not only his theatrical credits, or musical albums & concerts, but his charitable outreach and other aspects of life. Not that fans would be able to attend or ever see these performances/events, but it is nice to see he "gives back".

i dunno. I really have to stop rationalizing when it comes to that damn site, lol.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

The site should definitely include Adam's charity work, and he has participated in a lot throughout the course of his career.

I mean, probably not so much during the Wine and Vision years, but still re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

I suppose that is a little what I meant but more general then specifically wanting to know so that I could go, just wanting to know because he was there and...oh whatever I dont even know what I meant I guess I can see why it would sound that way, but really what is wrong with that? I went to that Our Time benifit only because he was there and I was going to be in town anyway but I gave money and have again each year since - so why shouldnt his fans know that he was going to be there?

so why shouldnt his fans know that he was going to be there?

I'm not saying there shouldn't. Or that there is anything wrong with going to a benefit just to see one artist.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

Have a good night, Michelle, and I agree it would be good to get advance notice for these kind of appearances. I can also see Adam not wanting to put it there. It might feel to him like he was bragging about his generosity or something.

Just FYI, the Ribbon of Hope awards were held this past Saturday in LA.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

ok good morning! I just have to point this out because it is eating at me - I said "so that fans would know he was going to be there???????? " and when you posted you typed "so his fans can know where to go see him. " I just feel like you totally misrepresented what I said, and I am not sure why. It seems to me that the issue got all confused when we all came to the same conclusion anyway no?

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

Obviously I misunderstood your point. We already came to that conclusion. I thought by saying "so that the fans would know he was going to be there," you meant so they could go see him. And if that's not what you meant -- which you made clear last night -- then I misunderstood. I don't see what the big deal is.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

Well we don't have to worry about it not being posted anymore, because the Ribbon of Hope event was posted on his website this morning. He's apparently making a guest appearance on a kid's show on Nickelodeon in January, too.

I need to stop looking at this site so much.

Hi Ilana.

She should really start crediting us for all of our suggestions that she's taking.

And Nickelodeon! I'm laughing, but that's cute.

I don't get mistake. Do people not realize AIDS stands for something? Twenty-five years later, no cure, higher infection rates than ever and people still can't spell it correctly. We won't get into the fact that these people are Rent fans; what the hell did they think the song lyric "This body provides a comfortable home to the Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome" was referring to?

Bleh. I think I'm just in a bad mood because they wrapped my burrito wrong at Chipotle, so I have to eat it with a fork. It doesn't taste the same. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

That Backyardigans show is on Nick right now so I thought I'd watch for a minute. It's all animated. I can't help but laugh at the thought of Adam on it.

I would LOVE Chipotle right now. There's nothing to eat here, my heat's broken and I'm so cold. I'm all complainy today.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

Yes, Emcee.

Aw, I see that "Aids" was changed to "AIDS" already. Cute!

Now, not only can adam-pascal.com mooch off this thread, so can his official site. I thought the point of an official site was so information coming directly from Adam, Sh-K-Boom, etc. could be posted, rather than just mainly reiterating what we've found on the internet.
