What's annoying about her? She'll probably be the 9/11 widow, I'm thinking, as Melissa Errico seems more suited to play the wife of a broker. By the way, it just occurred to me that the third guy could be some kind of narrator, since this is a concert version rather than a staged production.
ETA: just to clarify "what's annoying about her?" is a genuine question, since I've never seen her.

Oh, she's just a terrible, horrible, awful actress. I find her so irritating to watch. Beautiful voice, though. It's a shame her acting chops can't match it, or she'd really be something special.

Not the 2003 benefit, but one with a different cast from 1998. He sings the most orgasmic "Story of Chess." Yes, I totally just called that song orgasmic... only when Michael Cerveris is singing it (sorry Raul).

Lea Michele annoys the hell out of me, and I wholeheartedly begrudge her this opportunity. Her voice is lovely, but I found her to be an incredibly conventional actress (and not up to par at that). She adds nothing to a character, and I can't imagine her chemistry with Adam at all.

She's incapable of believable chemistry PERIOD because she tries too hard to create it. The whole "look, I'm cute, look, I'm sexy" air is not the way to good chemistry.

Well, let's hope it's Errico who plays the woman who falls for Adam's character, then, but I just found a website for the benefit, and the billing kind of implies that it'll be Adam and Lea as a couple. Also, maybe Daniel Reichard is going to be the painter, since he's too young to be a broker.

I mean, since it is a concert, I guess they could be going for voices more than anything else, and figure that since it's not a full production, you'll just suspend your disbelief with the rest. Who knows.

Rapp headswaps always turn out eerily perfect with absolutely no effort. Even when he was Bruiser Woods, he seemed like he belonged on that chihuahua body.
