Ok I've finally finished all my activities, so my stress should be leaving me now. My last post was kinda random as I decided not to refresh the page or check to see what had been written before I wrote my comment, oops.
Anyhow, the benefit musical seems interesting, I'll be waiting for you girls to give me all the details.
Craww, I love how perfectly their faces blend into those bodies, it's as if they were meant to be them.
Hey Sarah, hope you're feeling better too. (Have a glass of wine in front of a roaring fire.) I'm really looking forward to this. I think the last time I saw Adam do unfamiliar material was in the fall of 2005 when he did several benefits here while promoting the movie.
The movie was called "Jenifer" about a woman with ALS. It's from 2001.
I just looked at the myspace for Alive in the World, and it does say that Adam is playing Michael, the painter. Lea Michele is listed as "Pheobe," but I don't see that character mentioned in any of the summaries anywhere. Errico is playing Stella.
Thanks, Jenna. Here's the synopsis from the 2006 production:
New York City Now. Kate, a political activist, is married to Sam, a prematurely retired Wall Streeter, but she falls for Michael, a painter. Sam meets Stella, a 9/11 widow. This evolving new musical attempts to capture moments in our time, evoking place, memory, love, loss and hope in New York City, where the specter of terror hangs heavy. How do we reach for happiness? Who do we hurt by doing so? How do we feel Alive In The World?
And here's the upcoming cast list:
Melissa Errico as Stella + Lea Michele as Phoebe + Greg Naughton as Sam + Adam Pascal as Michael + Daniel Reichard as Edward
It appears that Kate has been renamed Phoebe (and it's going to be Adam and Lea - sorry, guys), and there's either a new or previously unmentioned character named Edward.
