Well, I'm assuming that all of the tour dates posted on the official site are "Me and Larry" dates. I remember reading that Adam's old booking company offered different rates for Adam and Larry versus just Adam, but I guess that's no longer offered or no one goes for it.

That's good, then, if he's finally kicking off Broadway State of Mind.

Unfortunately I won't have made enough money by then to go on my graduation trip. Though it does give me a bit of hope that if he's now booking for May he may book for things later on in the summer.

BTW - I have also spent time searching that nickjr site that Chloe said had some stuff via PC users....nothing I have found. They have a preview of the show video but no Adam.

I do believe that it's probably the Broadway show on those May dates, but "he will also soon launch a national concert tour" doesn't necessarily indicate that he'll be launching the Broadway tour. In fact, I'm more inclined to believe that line is referring to the upcoming "Me and Larry" tour dates listed on his website.

My best guess is that he'll complete the "Me and Larry" shows in spring 2008 (hopefully releasing the album around that time as well), do the Broadway show at Feinstein's in May, take a break, and come back a bit later in the year to play a few more Broadway-themed dates.

Not that there was any real confusion about this, but just for clarification's sake, I accidentally came across a message board thread in which someone posted a casting call for Backyardigans Live. It mentions they're looking for ensemble members to play a variety of different characters, including a "friendly dragon." So, I think we can be sure that Adam isn't going to be touring with that company.

Presumably the friendly dragon casting is for singing the role as well.

you could be 100% right, but at a lot of these kid shows, the performers aren't actually singing. Just mouthing along to the pre records.

Crack whores are number 4 on my list of things I like the least. Nuclear war, child murdering stuff, and Nickelback all trump them, though.

Craww, Clone High is the best show! Sorry to hear about your neighbors. I live next to people who blast Indian music, and while I typically don't mind it, it's really not what I want to hear at 7 am.

I'm currently in a bit of a predicament. For numerous reasons I won't get into, I still haven't purchased my ticket for Monday night. About an hour ago, I put a ticket in my shopping cart, started to check out, and then got distracted by a phone call. When I went to go through with the purchase, my ticket had magically disappeared! Now when I go to the website, it tells me that two balcony tickets are available, but when I add one to my cart, it tells me that I have removed a ticket from my cart, and that I need to go back to the calendar. When I do that, there aren't any balcony tickets left. Obviously, I'm thinking that the tickets for the balcony are sold out at this point, but the website keeps getting my hopes up. I'm thinking that I'll try again in a little while, but I may end up caving in and spending more money than I really wanted to.

As far as the Backyardigans goes, usually at shows like that, the performers are in full costumes like you would see at Disney World. If anything I would imagine they would play the recording of Adam singing, and have the dragon do whatever it is a dragon would do on stage.

That's frustrating. I hope you're able to get a balcony seat. There's a number you can call also, 212 352-3101. Maybe that's the way to cut through the computer glitches.

The Backyardigans special is getting quite a bit of notice. I had never heard of it, but apparently it's quite a big hit. Here's a funny blog about it from someone who "SOMEHOW I DON'T KNOW DON'T YOU JUDGE ME" saw Rent twice while Adam and Anthony were back.

After all of that, I was just able to get my ticket, although it seems as though I got the last balcony seat for Monday night. It's very strange that you had problems too, Emcee.

If the author of that blog thinks that going to Rent twice is grounds for judging, I would hate to hear what she would have to say about the number of times some of us went!
