re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

They might actually mean Nick Jr. on Demand, because the only video about the Mighty Knights under the Backyardigans category is a sneak peak at the movie. Has anyone checked Nick Jr. on Demand since January 4?

Thanks for checking, Lexi. You must be right, because I can't think what other Nick Jr. Video there could be.

As you may have deduced, I'm not working at the moment which is why I have the time to find all this stuff. There's something of an explosion of Adam news today. Seth Rudetsky mentions him (very briefly re the Chess benefit) in his column, and another press release just appeared about Adam performing two nights at Feinsten's at the Loews Regency on May 4 and 5. This seems to be a more traditional supper club venue than he's done here in the past.

maybe it will be more show tune oriented? I will just be getting back from Seattle then, damn. I would have actually wanted to go to those performances.

I will check Nick jr. on demand when I get home. It did say when I saw that other special it would expire on 1/4, so maybe that is why, they are bringing in other content.

I thought so too, but you never know re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

Hopefully his album will be out by then! I just listened to Civilian in the car today for the first time in awhile - I forgot how great it is. I hope the new album is just as good.

So is anyone going to Alive in the World this weekend? Chloe, I know you mentioned that you are

that picture is funny because it looks like Raul a good 5 inches taller than Adam

They both look quite a bit different now than they did in that picture...

This seems to be Adam PR day - yet another, this time from Theater Mania. I'm wondering about this Backyardigans live tour. Would he actually tour with it or would they just be playing his recording?

Adam Pascal to Participate in Three Projects with The Backyardigans
By: Tristan Fuge · Jan 7, 2008 · New York

Former Tony Award nominee Adam Pascal will participate in three projects related to The Backyardigans, an animated children's show on Nickelodeon television. He will play the Narrator in a new hour-long TV movie, Tale of the Mighty Knights, premiering Monday, January 14 at 7 pm; he will be one of the featured artists -- along with Cyndi Lauper and Alicia Keyes -- on the CD Born to Play (Nickelodeon/Sony BMG), to be released on January 22; and he will perform the ballad "Not An Egg" in Backyardigans Live!, a live theatrical presentation that will kick off a 50-city national tour in York, Pennsylvania on March 28.

Pascal is best known for his Tony-nominated performance as Roger Davis in the original cast of Rent, which he recreated for the film version. His other Broadway credits includes Aida and Cabaret. He will be seen on January 13-14 in a concert presentation of Paul Scott Goodman's Alive in the World at the Zipper Theater. He will also soon launch a national concert tour, and will appear at Feinstein's at the Loews Regency in May.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

Adam is probably sitting down...and Raul standing on a stool.

I checked my On Demand while I was waiting for my lunch to cook, and it didn't have any new Adam Backyardigan videos. Only the "I'm Not an Egg" clip. There are 2 other videos from the episode, but Adam is still an egg in those.

That's what I was thinking too, not to mention it would seemingly conflict with concert dates he already has.

Thanks for checking, skittles. Unless there's some other place "Nick Jr. Video" can be found, I guess that story was wrong about either the date or the content.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

I don't think he would have a reason to go on the tour in the first place. He's just a one-shot character in a series with over 50 episodes; they're most likely going to just use the main characters on the tour.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

"Kick off" definitely implies that he's just there for one night, and I don't think Adam would go on that kind of a tour anyway.

I guess Adam is going very solo show heavy for the near future. I guess if it's what he loves the most and he can make a living doing it...

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

Wait, I thought when he ever refers to solo it still included Larry. I must have missed something.
