re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

Anthony said somewhere that Columbus asked them both to lose a little weight, I think because the camera tends to bulk people up anyway and also to contribute to the starving artist look. I don't remember which interview that's from, though.

IMO, neither of them needed to lose any weight. I agree, it did make him look older.

Oh god, I love that Chris Columbus asked Anthony Rapp to lose weight. No wonder the guy looks so sickly. That must be when when his organs started feasting on themselves, because he had to limit his food intake solely to the sprouts he used to top his salad off with.

In retrosepect, maybe Adam wasn't high out of his gourd here. Just suffering malnutrition, and hallucinating that Wilson Jermaine Heredia was sent forth to him as The Skittles Fairy, to curb his excruciating hunger.

I'll look for that interview later on - I was as shocked as you are that they asked Anthony to lose weight. Where, in his hair?

Poor hungry Adam. I really don't like overly skinny guys, bleh.

Where, in his hair?

As if it wasn't bad enough that Chris Columbus gave him scurvy, it seems as if Rapp can also blame him for his oft-mocked balding spot. If he wanted Rapp to lose weight, he should have just sent him in for a jawectomy.

It's clear Columbus gave them nasty complexes, by the way Pascal points out his double chin in the movie commentary. I can hear him crying on the inside.

Shameless just pointed out to me that BWW has ads running for adam's new haven concert I think. I finally just saw one a few minutes ago at the top of the page, but she has been seeing them all day. You may know this already, but figured I'd post it in case.

ETA - she just posted one of the ads in the adult thread if you want to view it

Yikes, that's not what I meant when I mentioned him losing hair! Oops re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2 I can't find the weight loss interview, oh well. Anyway, moving on - I haven't seen any of the Adam ads on this page yet. Is anyone from here going to the upcoming concerts?

I think my AdBlock is keeping me from seeing that particular advertisement.

I don't actually have any tickets for any upcoming shows, therefore I can't proclaim with any certainty that I am. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

Thanks for the heads up on the ad, Tink. Out of curiosity, I just went to the Shubert website, and the best available ticket I was shown for Adam's concert was up in the mezz. As far as I know, the entire center section of the orchestra is sold out, and I know they started selling seats on the sides, although I'm not sure how far back they went. I don't know how many of you have been to the Shubert before, but it's kind of huge, which leads me to believe that these tickets sold pretty well. I'm a bit scared.

I wish I was kidding! According to the website, if you buy your ticket by the 13th, you get entered to win one of 10 prize packs. If that's not a reason to go, I don't know what is. Sadly, Jenna, Lexi, and I all purchased our tickets about four months too early to be entered into the contest. Shucks!

I just tried again, but I entered in two tickets instead of one. I got row J on the side of the orchestra, so maybe this won't be as scary as I though.

Lucky, are you sure you won't be entered anyway? It seems unfair for you not to be.

Here's a little Backyardigans review:

Monday
Theater star Adam Pascal goes way, way off-Broadway to jam with the Backyardigans in the one-hour movie "Tale of the Mighty Knights" which takes the gang on a medieval journey to find a runaway egg. Hence the musical number "Not an Egg Anymore," which your kids probably will be singing throughout the month. You've been warned.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

Chloe, it was only for people who bought tickets between the 10th and the 13th, so we're definitely not included. It does seem a little unfair though, as they only include the dates in the small print. It didn't say what was in the prize packs either, although winning Model Prisoner and Civilian seemed to be an option.

Oh, good, I have some friends going to that one, so I won't have to rely on sifting through the squeals Adam's board to find anything substantial about the show.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

Every time I open BWW I either see an ad for Adam, or an ad for the Rent tour, which begins at the Shubert the day after the concert. How clever.

Speaking of the Rent tour, my poor mother is completely and totally confused as to why I don't plan on going. She got all excited once she got a 50% discount code and almost ordered tickets, but I told her I didn't want to go and she seemed kind of disappointed. She never made it sound like she wanted to go with me though, which would've possibly changed my mind on going.
