Nice pictures. I think he looks cute - if almost exactly like he did at BB Kings 1 year ago.

Thanks for the pictures. You did a great job as usual. I don't think he looks terrible but I prefer his hair longer, as I'm sure I've said already. Sorry you didn't have a better time.

I don't think so anti. I don't know if it was even a sure bet at all, but something that was getting pitched. Who knows.

There hasn't been much talk of that doc in a while now. I know they originally said January, but last I heard, it'd been pushed back.

I think that most of the comments that've been made around here are pretty joking, although I can totally see where they could be seen otherwise. On the other hand, if you're in the industry, maybe you should be able to deal with that kind of criticsm and all the other bad stuff. I don't have to deal with it, so maybe it's easier for me to say that. I legitimately think Larry's very talented, but also, it's not surprising that many long time fans of Adam's aren't digging the new music when it's such a departure from his old sound. It seems like a natural human reaction to blame the only change, and in this case it's Larry, whether it may be right or wrong. It's BWW, and I don't think anything here should be taken too seriously.

he does have a show tonight in MA I think, so it is very possible.

That was very sweet of him. Not only was Heath's performance in Brokeback amazing, but he was great in The Patriot as well. To bring this all back around in a six degrees of Kevin Bacon kind of way, the girl who plays Heath's youngest sister in The Patriot is one of the sisters in American Primitive.

That six degrees bit-very interesting. It's interesting how people can be linked...

... does that surprise you? The entertainment industry is ridiculous incestuous, and it's really easy to link people. That's why we DO the whole six-degrees thing.

Exactly. If you're depending on public acceptance for your career, you risk support as well as criticism. If you can't handle it, either grow a spine or go back to piano lessons.

Well, the Adam link surprised me. Usually the six-degrees thing doesn't surprise me, I just find it interesting.

I grew up watching Heath Ledger in The Patriot; and I admit his death is very unsettling to me. It's nice that Adam did that.

I will admit that the closing news really hasn't upset me in the way I expected it too. Then again, I never thought the Return would have had the effect it did either. But that segment, when I watched it earlier, made me tear up for the first time. LOL at Norbie Roger though hehe

That just made my heart sink to my stomach. He's so wonderfully articulate, as usual.

Is the final Rent commercial up yet?

I think there was a thread a day or two ago with people posting saying they saw it, so I'm gussing it is running on TV.

The show on the 22nd was in MIchigan (not MA, finally one in Michigan) I still had to drive nearly two hours but it was here!

Unfortunatly the ushers at the show were highly skilled at spotting any type of recording device so I have one really bad picture of "him and larry" bowing at the end, and a few videos taken on a digital camera that I will try to get up on youtube tonight. Oh and a stagedoor pic that I am sure no one wants to see (yuck!)

The show was really good! All of the songs except for "I'm with You" (which is the song that he dedicated to Heath Ledgers child) and the Broadway stuff were "new". I defiantly have to get used to the new stuff, but it always takes me a while. I really like the Blinding Light song already, and of course that is the only one that we didnt catch on tape because of the eagle eye ushers.

As expected there were two girls with big A** signs that they were holding up professing there love to him, thank goodness he didn't pay them much attention! We don't want to encourage that behavior now do we? It was actually rather comical because they yelled "I LOVE YOU ADAM" to get his attention, then when he looked over his attention was pulled the other way, and when they yelled again he said "I heard you". funny funny man! Then later when someone else screamed out the highly original "I LOVE YOU" he said "yeah? so do they" pointing toward the sign girls. So I guess they got there 15 min. of fame.

Funny stuff Adam said....

His wife called him that day to tell him that she just bought a $2000.00 dog, and they already have a dog. He said "that dog better sh*t gold" Someone asked him what kind of dog it was and he could'nt remember at first saying it was a girl dog, a yippy one, then he came up with the breed "pappion" AWWWEEEE

In the prelude to See me smiling he referred to the sex that night as "the best 98 seconds of her life" hehehe

Did he do the Bon Jovi/Springsteen thing at the shows you all saw?

OH, and after the nice speech about Heath Ledgers child he said that "if anyone wants to do drugs....spoke pot, no one ever died from smoking pot"

Nice Adam!

all in all it was a great time as always!

I'm pretty sure there are statistics to prove you wrong on that one, Adam, but it's all good. I see the PSA in the making.
