re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 13 1/2

I'm going to butt in and make a totally random (but slightly on topic remark). I will admit to being a little OCD about A Chorus Line. However, I am listening to Adam's "What I Did For Love" and I like it.

I've heard both versions of "What I Did For Love". I also like Adam's version; it's very different from the Broadway one.

What I Did for Love is one of my favorite songs period, musical theater or not. I love that Adam said they'll be recording it for the website.

This is what happens when I'm sick and bored in bed. Hopefully it can brighten some of your days, too:

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 13 1/2

I think he appeared in '96, which would make it season one.

I don't really have anything against Rosie, but I can't imagine purchasing an entire season of a talk show. I would so never have the attention span for that.

Sounds like a plan, then. In case you didn't know, Adam's 1996 appearance on the Rosie show is currently on YouTube, but I'm sure the DVD video will be of better quality.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 13 1/2

I think he may have been on the very beginning of season two. As far as I know, my aunt has every episode of Rosie's show cataloged on tape, so if no one figures out a definite answer tonight I'll give her a call in the morning. I'm totally excited that she's releasing a highlight DVD, it's about time!

yeah I know, I have a video of it as well, but it is my favorite version of Glory so I really want a good copy!

A while back someone listed all the Broadway performances on Rosie's show, which I happened to save (along with tons of other stuff that will no doubt prove to be less useful). Here's the first season. I think the Rent listing is for when the whole cast came on to sing SOL, and Adam's solo appearance isn't on there, but this may come in handy neverthless.

Season 1:
June 21, 1996: RENT
June 28, 1996: SEVEN GUITARS
July 8, 1996: BRING IN DA NOISE, BRING IN DA FUNK
July 19, 1996: STOMP
October 16, 1996: SMOKEY JOE'S CAFE
March 19, 1997: LES MISERABLES
April 9, 1997: ANNIE
May 12, 1997: TITANIC: THE MUSICAL
May 23, 1997: CHICAGO
May 26: 1997: "BEST OF BROADWAY SHOW" (of that Tony season)
May 27, 1997: TITANIC: THE MUSICAL
May 28, 1997: THE LIFE
May 29, 1997: STEEL PIER
May 30, 1997: THE LIFE
June 16, 1997: BRING IN DA NOISE, BRING IN DA FUNK

If Adam's One Song Glory was on there, it would be nice quality. That would be cool.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 13 1/2

I liked Rosie's show, but yeah, I can't imagine owning the DVD's of a talk show. Save for select appearances, how many times can you watch that kind of thing? I feel the same way about DVD's of reality shows.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 13 1/2

It would be nicely if she came out with a strictly broadway one. I think those are the only shows I'd be interested in seeing again. I don't own a lot of television shows on DVD, because I just have no interest in seeing the shows over again.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 13 1/2

I don't know if I'd spend the money on her DVDs just to see a handful of performances, but I hope I get to see them in better quality.
