Just to clarify, I'm not saying Adam's appearance wasn't in the first season, just that individual performers don't seem to be listed, only cast appearances.

How many times have you seen Adam perform? (Include both RENT and solo shows).

Pet peeve: When people don't acknowledge that Rent is not the only show Adam has done. And I know, you're going to tell me you know, but really, that sort of phrasing makes it seem like the only thing that matters to have seen him in is Rent. I know that's the only thing that some people care about, but it's sort of misrespresentiive to disregard a major portion of his body of work.

I think I may have an answer about Rosie. In the clip from Adam's interview, Rosie mentions that Tom Cruise was going to be on in several days. I found a website that has an episode list, and Tom Cruise was first on during the first season of the show, meaning that Adam was as well. The interesting thing is that I can't find him listed as a guest on this website. Either way, I think the mystery is solved!

You're right I do know, I guess I just don't think about it because I never saw him in anything else. I changed the question to say "broadway and solo shows"

And about benefits? What about non-categorical performances? I counted those in my answer, but it just seems like your example was more an unintentional limitation to the obvious (and most common) than anything else. And I'm sorry, but I have a hard time with the idea that something is only imporatnt enough to mention you saw it. It's selfish to only acknowledge work that you happened to see and leave out other stuff that he's proud of and to which he devoted a lot of time.

I think stage door performances should also be counted. After all, that was the venue for his one time only Fangirl imitation
