You can tell there's something of an Adam news drought when we spend a page on Bon Jovi. Have a great time, everyone who's going.
I did manage to come up with one little article, relating to a Gossip Girl cast member who's also a Renthead. Meeting Adam caused her to get "goofy and weird." Gossip Girl story

Hah! The scripted drama. I remember seeing a million previews for that when I watched Legally Blonde, and finding it amazing that MTV managed to get worse after I stopped watching.
Meeting Adam caused her to get "goofy and weird."
I think I liked her in the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants movie. I know at least that it was the best physical casting they did. Yeah, shut up, I read YA sometimes. Adam would love those books too. They're all about girly jeans that get overly adorned and never washed. He'd relate.
I think Gossip Girl might actually be too shlocky and banal for even me, though. Sad.
The Gossip Girl thing is interesting, because I remember on the original part 14 (I think thats where it was anyway), someone posted an article about GG cast members seeing Rent towards the end of A&A's run, but Lively wasn't one of them. I had, however, seen the picture of her and Adam from his and Anthony's first night, so I remember wondering if she was a fan and turned the others onto it. Who knows if the latter part is true, but I think it's cool that she is, indeed, a fan.
I liked her in the SotTP movie too... I read the first 3 books a few years ago and was very happy with her performance. And although I still have to read the last one, I agree Craww, Adam totally would relate to the adorned/not washed jeans.
And you know what, I'm not afraid to admit it... I watch Gossip Girl, and I like it. Is it a bit trashy? yep. shlocky? sure. but I read many of the books once and it's probably my favorite new show this season.
Heh. Adam curled up by a window reading "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants." Or watching the movie with Blake Lively in it. Which they're making a sequel to.

I'm too lazy to go searching for a screen cap, but this makes me think of a shot in the rent movie that fades out as Will I begins, where Adam is sitting by the window, looking contemplative. I'm totally picturing him reading it there.
I haven't seen Gossip Girl, but I think it's from the guy behind The O.C., which started out kind of interesting but quickly degenerated into soapiness. Maybe he's picking up where he left off.
It's been something of a surprise to see which performers are Rent fans. That's probably the only category which both Mandy Moore and Tyra Banks fit into.
i was at the show the night tyra was there. sanjaya was also there one night that i was there

.... why would you have to pay full price at all? I have never paid full price for Rent tickets. There's just no need to; there's always a good discount, and they're valid even for great seats.
i bought full price before i found the discount codes. oh well... :)
