re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 13 1/2

It's not the dissection itself that would hypothetically bother me, if I were to do one, it's the fact that they're bred just to be killed for that purpose. Yuck

I would never do that - they could fail me, I wouldn't care.

Sweetestsiren, I love the avatar! So cute re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 13 1/2

That's horrible, skittles. In my bio class, we dissected a pig heart/lungs that was actually worse than the fetal pig because it hadn't been preserved at all. My teacher explained how similar the pig and human systems were, saying we ought to imagine we were looking at a human circulatory system. Somehow that didn't help with objectifying the task.

Me neither. I have to solidify my winter break plans and make sure I'll be around. Although as it stands now, I suppose I can structure any plans I might make around plans to be in town for the show.

Yeah, I doubt it will sell out. I'm definitely going to that one, I'm just dragging my feet about the ticket for some reason, hehe

I'm still holding out hope that a date for the Broadway State of Mind show will pop up somewhere. I'd assume that all the January shows are Me and Larry with the album coming out, but it's hard to tell with the vague descriptions of the shows.

(A friend bought tickets to the Mamaroneck show a few days ago and got second row. I wouldn't worry about it selling out.)

until the show routine changes I cannot get seats anywhere near the stage. At the BB Kings show, we loved it but were in such mocking moods that Adam would probably have thrown something at us if we were closer, lol.

Heh, yeah, that was one show were I kind of liked being far back, because it gave us the freedom to throw in our own commentary. And I was totally high on cold meds. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

That set up was so awkward. We were probably so mocking because most of us had already seen that show 4 or 5 times and he was making less than subtle gay jokes about him and Larry.

That was my first time seeing Adam live, so I sat fairly close. It was fun re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

When he started Glory, I was like ahhhhh

Well, in our defense, we also had no idea how big it was or what the setup was. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

Plus, since I was high on cold meds, my judgement was poor. :P I was sad about that, because it meant I couldn't drink. And I would really enjoy being able to drink at an Adam concert. I want him to play at a place that has a bar again, but I don't know when that'll happen next. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2 I was sick at the Metropolitan Room gig, too.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

I got there late, but since I was by myself, the guy was like "oh, I'll find you a good seat." He also didn't charge me for my diet cokes - nice guy re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

The people next to me were flipping out about meeting Adam after the show. After they met him, they came out from backstage crying, I was like woah...

I can't really picture doing that either - only because I'm not a crier to begin with. I definitely understand why someone would, especially if they have a deep emotional attachment to a person's work for X number of years.

One of the girls cried when she met Anthony after Rent, I was like aw. But not really, because they were kind of annoying

I'm still thinking about the Mamaroneck show. I actually passed Mamaroneck today...

This may sound stupid, but is the announcement on BWW for the concert I just mentioned?

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

I think there's a big difference in being emotionally overwhelmed when you meet someone versus shrieking and hysterically crying. The worst I've seen of that was at the Goyband shoot. There were this group of girls behind me that started crying and hypervenitilating when they caught a glimpse of Adam behind a curtain.

I usually hide my inner fangirl well. Luckily, I can contain myself til after I'm away from the person, unlike a few weeks ago when I shared an elevator with Kim Cattrall.
