re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

i didn't get to see anything this last tour, my work travel schedule was just too much.

i'm looking forward to NC because it will be the first time i'll be seeing him live. by january hopefully the album will be out or almost out, and by april it should be out so hopefully he'll change it up a bit.

but honestly i don't care if it's the same set. i've made some great friends through RENT this summer that i'll be hanging with at the shows, and that's what's cool.

I saw one of his shows in Jersey in the Spring of '06 and the Metropolitan Room gig last fall. I'll probably end up at one of the January shows, but I'd ideally like to wait for the Broadway State of Mind one to come around, if that ever happens.
I recognize the addiction to being alive.

yeah i would love to see one of the Broadway shows too, i think that would be awesome!

the state of mind tour is probably more expensive to book since it's him with a full band. that's probably why most places are booking the Me and Larry tour

Hopefully he can get dates for the Broadway tour. It sounds nice, Adam with a full band.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

I'm not sure what my Rent count is... I think about 7 in total. I probably wont go back until there's a cast overhaul, though, because I was really not satisfied with them during the Return.
I have a few friends who want to see the show, but I'm hesitant to bring them and have this cast be their first and likely only experience with Rent.

I've only seen one of Adam's solo shows. I'm going to the Mamaroneck show in January, and if he ever announces official Broadway State of Mind shows, I'll definitely go to one of those.

As I said, he doesn't have that large a repertoire of songs that he performs, so I'm less inclined to spend money to see the same show multiple times. With groups like DMB, you never know what you'll hear at each subsequent show, minus a few fan favorites, so those are shows that I'd be more willing to pay to see time and again. Although not anymore since I'm not crazy about their new stuff, hehe

i agree MC... i used to LOVE DMB, but I haven't really liked anything since Everyday came out. now bon jovi on the other hand... i'm going to most of their shows at the Pru Center because you are guaranteed a good show with some obscurity!

I agree with you. His/their work up until then was nothing less of spectacular. I've resigned myself to accept that they had five or six near flawless albums, of which I should be grateful. Their new stuff doesn't compare at all, not by a longshot, IMO

i totally agree... the last time i heard them play live was at Live8 in Philly... i'm not inclined to go to a show because i don't like any of the new stuff

After going to see Bon Jovi, seeing Adam will probably be totally different. The only real comparison between them was their hair.

I guess for me seeing an Adam show will be more exciting because it'll be my first time.

LOL at the hair comment! well, Adam did compare the mountain scene during What You Own to a bad Bon Jovi video!

I honestly have no idea how they could have watched, that after shooting it, and not thought "okay, maybe we should rethink this, it looks like a Bon Jovi music video..."

That is weird; one of them should've noticed-it's not like Bon Jovi isn't well known.

Now both Adam and Bon Jovi changed their hair.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

it actually reminds me more of Creed's "With Arms Wide Open" than "Blaze of Glory" but it is hysterical to me the similarities.

nope it is totally Britney's "I'm Not a girl....". I could totally see him in the midriff showing draping sleeve top too!

I am going to have such odd images.

Truthfully, I can see Bon Jovi going for a bare mid-driff more than Adam.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

I know you all aren't particularly serious about this, but I would guess the reason WYO was done that way is that neither Columbus nor his editor were familiar with those music videos. I doubt if that big a reshoot was in the budget either, once they started getting feedback about it. Also, Adam probably didn't see it until the movie was finished, and when you're in a shot you don't necessarily know how it's going to end up looking.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

i agree chloe they probably didn't realize what it was until it was finished.

GG: jon showing skin is a treat... :) just like when he ripped his shirt open the other night!

Yeah, the shirt-ripping was why I made the above comment. So far, there are no records of Adam shirt-ripping at concerts. :P

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

damn! :)

must say that's one thing i noticed about delcan... you see ALOT of skin, every time he raised his arms above his head you saw his stomach. so either he doesn't care or his costume doesn't fit him well.

the only time i saw adam's stomach was when he did the little stripper move during OTS at the last show.

no wait, i take that back, that saturday night too when he couldn't get the green shirt off.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

Oddly, I've seen Anthony's stomach more than Adam's, possibly because of the nature of the sweater he wears during La Vie Boheme.
