Heh, I thought everyone had downloaded the NYMF version by now; it's single-handedly paid for Rachael's Megaupload account through 2010. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

I want to see Next To Normal. I find it amusing (and frustrating) that the most certain sounding casting information I've seen for it came from my local, rinky-dink liberal city paper. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

In general, I'm definitely wanting to come to New York in January. Which would most surely result in somehow seeing Adam Pascal for a 4th time.

My mom didn't know Adam Pascal was a singer (in the musician sense); surprising, considering I have both of his CD's...

aw, that's one of my favorite Charlie Brown episodes. So cute!

Happy Halloween! Maybe Adam will resurrect the bedazzled jeans to go trick or treating tonight :-P

Maybe, and then maybe Cybele probably does what my mom used to do and weeds out the forbidden candy. Their kids seem to have a good understanding of their allergies and why certain items are off limits.

Maybe they just did something at home with allergy-free stuff re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

Heh, when I was a kid, I'd give whatever candy I couldn't eat (most of it) to my brother, and my parents would either replace it with candy I could eat, or just give me a few dollars. It was a good way of handling it, I guess, because that way I didn't have to miss out on the fun and tradition of trick-or-treating itself.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

My mom never let me have anything that wasn't sealed, or any chocolate. She was so strict about my sugar intake - it was like torture!

Actually, it's funny you mentioned the money, because when my mom and her siblings were kids, her older brother would save his Halloween candy for months. When she and her sister ran out, he'd sell them his - way overpriced, of course.

I think there's some candy - mostly non chocolate - that's okay to eat if you have food allergies. I'm sure it's still a measly fraction of what you collect trick-or-treating, though

I had to work late and missed the kids tonight, but there are fewer and fewer each year. I don't know if they're all just growing up in my neighborhood or if parents have become more cautious. It seems way too warm to be Halloween yet. I can remember trick-or-treating through the snow. That probably only happened once or twice, but that's the time I really remember.

I'll agree with you Chloe. Last night I went trick or treating (I swear I'll still be going when I'm 85...I can't help it re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2) with my cousins and best buddy; but there was barely anyone out. Not only were we the oldest kids going around (teehee) but I saw a total of 5 groups going around and that's it. Plus an older lady who always hands out bags of candy turned off her lights this year; and that made me really sad. I like seeing Louise this time of year.

And the weather in grand old MN? Rather chilly, but not as bad as it was during the day. My leather jacket was a perfect coverup.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

We get kids older than 10 who don't even bother dressing up. I remember when I was little the first thing we did when we got home was dump our bags. I traded my brother the things I didn't like (he also had no choice in what I took from him). And my mom took hard candies, unwrapped candies, and things she liked from us.

my grandmother gets so mad when older kids who aren't wearing costumes come by asking for candy. She turns off her lights, lol

Hey everyone!

I always loved going out and getting candy on Halloween, but I'd never finish it. I would eat a bit on Halloween, and then forget about it.

i used to sort through my candy and then my mom would hide all of my peanut butter cups because they are my dad's favorite and he'd eat all of them on me.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

We had a grand total of 13 trick or treaters last night, which was great for me since I got to eat the leftover candy. Back in the day, our neighborhood was the hot spot for trick or treating, but all of the "kids" are now my age or older. I definitely remember having to trick or treat in my winter coat a few times, which was always a bummer because then no one could see your costume.
