re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

We got 30ish kids. I was mad because my mom got stupid candy, so we have 2 giant packages of Dum-Dums left over instead of something good like chocolate. Ugh. Guess what the kids will be getting next Halloween.

My parents used to always inspect my candy when I was little. I understood the sentiment, but they were such f*cking nazis about it. It took me years before I finally convinced them that the wrappers of Tootsie Roll pops were just naturally more worn and it did not mean that every single Tootsie Roll pop I had ever gotten were all poisoned. They made me throw out DOZENS every year. Ugh. I'm still bitter about that. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

Remember that urban legend that people were putting blades in apples for Halloween? My mom was insane about that - anything that wasn't sealed with like, crazy glue got thrown in the garbage.

This is probably why I started eating everything in sight when I was in high school. Ah, teenage rebellion.

My mom took all our leftover candy to work with her today. I knew those Reese's cups would be calling my name at night...

I gave my extras to my friends and the rest to my mom.

My dad was a detective, so the candy inspecting sessions were intense.

I put out a bowl because my dad bought four bags of candy and we only get a few trick or treaters. You could hear the little kids screaming because they were so excited that they could take as much candy as they wanted. Needless to say we only had a few pieces left this morning.

I've always been pretty good at eating candy in moderation. I end up having to give a lot away. Most of it is chocolate, and I like fruity candies more.

You're like the kids I babysit for. They still have Halloween candy from last year.

There's not too much that I dislike in the candy world.

I didn't even get to eat candy last night. I do have a date on my couch tonight with a carton of rice cream when I get home from work. So that makes up for it.

It seems like in every single picture, Adam is chomping away on gum. It's always hanging out of his mouth.

I usually go crazy with my candy for about a week and then it all sits around until Easter, when I realize it's time to throw it away. But right now, I need to hide it from myself or I'll make myself sick.

I'm going to have a stomach ache for days with all the candy we have left over. I'm one of those people that never learns. As soon as my stomach has settled, I'm eating more candy.

The Return honestly feels like it was eons ago. I have a picture of Adam and I sitting on my desk, and every time I look at it, I'm like "... wait, what? No."

My mom got me a GIANT bag of 200 little bags of Skittles and Starbursts. Moderation is for losers.

My life isn't currently allowing me to see anything, so I missed their return to Rent, and I don't really know what's going on. What does Adam have coming up?

That's what I had meant, if that's what you're referring to. The comment made it sound like she meant the 18th of this month and I don't remember hearing anything about that. Just curious.

Oh I knew what you meant, but I was just also wondering why someone wrote that they would see him on the 18th. Because none of us had heard anything about goings on this month.

sorry, I'm tired lol
