I'm pretty sure everyone read the "no more penises" blog when it was first posted; it was discussed here at length (no pun intended).


It seems that since that blog post, all of those groups have become private.
Well, yeah. If Adam can't see them, the creepy posts don't exist and they're still the self-titled "best Adam fans."

That was what I was tempted to post on that blog, Em. No other actor seems to have this much controversy on their page. This is the second time Adam has had to scold the loyal subjects of his via blogs.

Well, most fanbases have their drama. It's to be expected. But I think sometimes people are so attention-hungry that they don't realize how pathetic it is that he has to babysit part of his fanbase. In those situations, attention is attention, and that's all they want.

That's probably true. I just can't see why someone would want to put those kind of comments out there for him to see. Maybe I'm just shy.

i agree... although i have posted my fair share of things on adam's page, i try to keep it as PG as possible. most of the comments in question do go overboard, and you're right, adam should not have to babysit his fans.

i'm hoping now that they will use the fansite pages for their comments and keep adam's page about love for him, not the crap they have been posting.

Actually, I think two of the three people who were (in my opinion) the most publicly invasive and fixated on his sex life are 30 or older. I don't know if that makes it any better or worse.

It's really not even the invasive quality of what they say that bothers me. I think a lot of people, myself included, are guilty of curiosity to what might be an invasive extent at times. It's the creepy projection (as in, his wife is just the vehicle through which to discuss their fantasies) that makes me uncomfortable, coupled with begging him to go to the pages and read it. I couldn't care less about a lot of actions on the part of fans, but talk about making my skin crawl. (Although if he doesn't care, I suppose my feelings of being uncomfortable with it are for naught.)
