Heh, at least they had kids. They weren't the fans themselves. If the moms had wanted to make a tableau of themselves, that'd be another story. It's not even an issue with being a fan at a certain age -- it's the adults that act like children.

Thanks for the recap, mesmerized. I'm glad you had such a good time. Also, I love that Adam does the stagedoor thing when the Fuse people are there. They should have filmed the faces of the disappointed 13-year-old girls one of the days he didn't sign at Rent, just to keep the rockumentary accurate.

Speaking of fans who don't fit the profile, does anyone remember the Hanson episode of Fanatic, when their #1 fan was that 35 year old guy?

at the final stage door there was this woman behind me who was probably in her late 50s and she screamed at the young (13 or so) girl in front of me to "put down her f'ing poster so she could see adam or she would beat the s**t out of her"....

Wow, that woman sounds just lovely.

misschung, not only do I remember that episode, I just watched it a few weeks ago while going through old VHS tapes I found. His reaction to being the FANatic was pretty priceless, as were his tears. I wonder what that guy is up to now.

Larry's page is missing that Mamaroneck show date. I wonder when the hell he's doing the Broadway State of Mind tour, if these shows are all going to be in the Me and Larry vein

I have a feeling that these Broadway State of Mind shows we've been patiently waiting for won't be happening until after the cd comes out. I'm sure they'll do some promotional stuff, and then when that's over he'll focus on the Broadway show. We're going to be waiting for a while, misschung.

That's what I figured, Lucky. I don't mind waiting, I was just initially confused because there seemed to be so much happening at once.

I'm kind of looking forward to their new cd, even if it is a bit more mellow. If it's done well (including the production) it has the potential to really showcase Adam's voice, you know?

yeah and i think adam's voice has matured so much over the last few years... i mean even listening to the OBC Recording of RENT versus hearing him on stage, the difference between recorded and taped aside, i think he sounds amazing now.
