re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

I love A.Rapp's Halloween. Another song that grew on me. When I first heard Halloween, back when I got the movie soundtrack, I usually skipped it, but I came to like it. But during The Return it became a favorite.

It was one of the songs that made me most emotional during their last night. Or, more accurately, it began the block of songs that made me very emotional that night, which, for me was very unusual, because movies/shows/etc rarely bring me to tears.

depending on the day and my mood certain songs got me more than others.

i remember the last night watching adam visablly crying at the end of without you. after that i was done.

Watching Anthony during Without You was really powerful. That and the ending are two of my favorite parts.

omg I miss them

I barely cried during the Return. I did at the very beginning of the first performane, and then I teared up a little bit when I saw it from the lotto seats and at the last show. But that was it. Which was strange.

oh yeah, I guess it was Without You that started me off too. I'd forgotten that. But Halloween certainly contributed.

And this is a bit late, but I preferred Rodney's Benny as well. I only saw them (Rodney & D'Monroe) each do it once though, so I'm not the best judge. But I didn't realize that Rodney was OBC (though obviously not as Benny) until very recently, when I was looking through the RENT book. I saw a picture of him with Taye in there and I was like "why does he look really familiar?" And then I realized. It must've been cool for him to get to do it with A&A.

he's told me it was awesome to work with them again. he said they brought an energy that was unmatched to the show.

although he said it took some getting used once they left. i know he talked about that with nicolette in the last broadway bullet interview

I'm so glad I didn't have to endure the stage door madness. I watched from the outskirts once or twice, and that was more than enough.

I said from the lotto seats AND at the last show. Two separate occasions.

sorry emcee, i misread.

The stagedoor thing was just funny. I took one look the first night and I was like yeah...this isnt going to work. But then Anthony did actually sign my program, over the dumpster. How classy re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

It was fun to get the first glimpse of Adam though, over the screaming

What a great time that was. I miss it too, but of course if it continued indefinitely it wouldn't be as special anymore.

I also hung around the stagedoor outskirts a couple of times. I found the hysteria kind of fun, as long as people weren't getting pushed around too much.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

Stagedooring wasn't too bad the first time I did it, but on the 7th it was...wow. But almost everyone came out, which was a real treat.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

The stagedoor experience I remember most clearly was the press night when I thought Emcee and Fantab had left and I got really upset, because I was leaving the next morning and didn't know when I'd be able to see them again. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

The times with Lexi all kind of blur together, because for some reason, we kept deciding to get right into the thick of it. Not necessarily to get anything signed (once the Chess poster was taken care of :-P), just for the "experience." Not our smartest decision. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

I tried to avoid the stagedoor when it was that chaotic. I liked watching it from the back, though. I guess I didn't want something signed back enough to be trampled and crushed and pushed.

The night I won lotto, I was walking out of the theater and there were only like 5 people waiting. The crowd ended up being really small, so I'm glad I stayed and got my Playbill signed.

re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2

the stagedoor madness was crazy. the worst of course was the last night but i was in it anyway.

i usually got lucky and was sitting Orch R so i could just walk out and get right at the barricade or right by the door.

and you're right, the dumpsters got some lovin' this summer!

i'm currently laid up with a bulging disc in my back. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part 14 v. 2
