I don't mean to bore this thread with geek speak, but I'm formatting my hard drive now.
BYE BYE PRETTY ADAM PHOTOS AND MEDIA. And about a million other things.
My parents are buying me a new computer for college, and while I want a Sony Vaio, I also never want to go through this again.
That sucks.
Poor computer
GET A MAC!
I'm sorry Lexi. *hugs*
Hee, Katt. So many good lines to choose from. My favorite:
Your definition of people that deserve love/acceptance/tolerance is quite narrow indeed. You can accept drug users, drag queens, homosexuals, smokers, profanity users etc....but you draw the line on people having RENT stuff and talking about it.
So many good lines. I was just over at Anthony's IMDb. My head hurts.

My computer won't even format properly, girls.
Macs scare me. I'm so used to the Windows interface.
Of course we should think twice before accepting homosexuals and profanity users, skittles! ::rolls eyes::
Seriously, you'll be used to it in a day. It's the best.

Em, what kind of Mac do you have specifically?
Maybe this is some sort of a sign that we should buy my college computer now.
Powerbook G4, fifteen inch. But now they have the new Intel chip Macs, so I don't know if Powerbooks are available anymore.

thanks for the preview =]
Adam dancing makes me happy
Aww Lexi, I'm sorry to hear about your computer I recommend that you buy your new one through the NYU computer store - not only do they offer student discounts, but they're really good about fixing computers purchased from them.
I've never heard the term "profanity users" before and it's cracking me up.
Sooo, my group is giving a presentation in class this morning, and at rehearsal yesterday some people were still screwing up their lines *crosses fingers and hopes for the best*

I'm using my one opportunity to skip lab, and I'm going back to sleep. I need more than four hours of sleep, and I have a test today. Goodnight.

*tucks Em in* Bye! Good luck on the test later.

Em, did you get around five hours of sleep like me? I couldn't get to sleep until 2 AM and woke up at 7 to describe my computer problems. They said I could order my computer for college now (I'll have to help pay for it), so... decisions, decisions. Thanks for the advice, Jessica, but I kind of need the new computer right now.
All I can say is to never order a Toshiba laptop. This is problem, like, #358 that I've had with this thing.

For some reason, I think he can (kind of) handle choreographed dancing.
ETA: 'Night Em!

I fell asleep closer to three, I think. I don't know. I had a weird dream and woke up around 5:45, all upset and confused. Fell asleep again until 7:45 to get something from my dad and collapsed back into bed, with every intention of getting up again right now to get ready for class, but I can not move.
(MAC!! And they have student discount, woo!)
ok, night.

I'd love a laptop, but I'm happy with my giant black Dell desktop at the moment! That said, if you're getting a new laptop, Dell might not be the way to go either. While I've never had a problem with the desktop, I have friends with laptops, and they HAVE had problems!

Thanks for the suggestions, girls. Strangely enough, Allie, we have a Dell desktop as well that has been generally good, while the two Dell laptops we've had have given us all sorts of problems. I wonder if the Dell desktops are made better than the laptops.
I think I'm too scared to get a Mac. Plus, my father (who's paying for most of it) is very "ew, Macs." He's been a loyal customer of Microsoft since its infancy. Heh.

I wonder if that's true, too, regarding Dell... very odd. I went with Dell because when they built the new high schools in my county, they went with Dell and I loved them. I checked out their website, and they were SO reasonably priced. I got my entire system for under $750 CDN. That includes moniter, speakers, etc. And it was the only site I could order from without a credit card! I'm looking to upgrade my moniter to a fancy flatscreen, possibly this summer. YAY, computers.
Bet of luck with your search!! I'm sure you'll find something great that works for you!

Not only a flatscreens pretty, but they're so much easier on the eyes as well. I could stare at a flatscreen monitor for hours and still not experience the dry eye problems I usually have when staring at a screen for long amounts of time.
Thanks, Allie! I hope I do, because my last computer was an absolute waste of money.
I'm off to get ready for school. Uggggh.
Morning, everyone.
I hate hate hate Monday mornings.
Thanks for the advice, Jessica, but I kind of need the new computer right now.
I'm pretty sure they do online orders, as long as you have your student ID number. Obviously you can't wait until the fall for a new computer :-P
As for the whole Dell issue, I've had a Dell Latitude D600 laptop for close to two years and I've never had any major problems with it. Maybe I'm just lucky.
Ok. Really weird question. My eye is not bothering me at all, but I just went to look in the mirror and it is unusually pink. I've never had pink eye before. Anyone?
