That's not happening for me either--it's working fine.
I'm not having any problems with my computer so....
It's not computer problems, it's just the site. I started a thread for it, so we don't have to fill up the Adam thread anymore.
Here's a little info from the person who took the pictures at BU:
He played stuff from both cds, he played Glory, and he also played some cover stuff.. including his own jazzy version of "Maria" and his finale was "What I Did for Love"
Sounds like an interesting arrangement of "Maria."
I still don't know WSS Maria, so it's still the Sound of Music one in my head.
It's a beautiful song, a ballad that builds to a big finish in the original version. Here are the main lyrics:
Maria - I've just met a girl named Maria,
And suddenly that name
Will never be the same
To me.
Maria - I've just kissed a girl named Maria,
And suddenly I've found
How wonderful a sound
Can be.
I really want to hear him sing it.
You can listen to a good sample of it here:

Anyone know if people got to meet Adam at BU? Did he hang around, have a formal meet & greet, or just leave?
Someone posted in the rent_newengland community that he was supposed to sign for people after the show, but I haven't seen any reports about that one way or the other yet.

People are slow on reviewing...a few people on lj updated to say they went, but that pictures/reviews were coming. Maybe I'm just impatient...I dunno
Part 9 IS just around the corner...scary.
So I've survived part one of the pasta making experience (it's currently resting). We'll see...working with dough is always just so much fun...riiiight...
Bye Alex, have a good time.
Amber, do you make your own pie crust? That's what I've always found to be the hardest. (Haven't done it for a while.) I inherited a great recipe from my grandmother that uses lard. I must admit it makes an incredible crust, but don't particularly want to eat something with lard in it.

Jyn326 and Chloe, he did apparently stick around for a meet of greets after the show. Someone on LJ said that she got an autograph, and someone else posted that she missed getting an autograph because she was at the very end of the line.

I do...I've gotten better at it, but it can sometimes get really complicated. It just tastes better

I found this, if anyone's interested:
One of the first things Adma Pascal said last night after the cacophony of female screams was, "So, let me get this straight...it's all girls and gay men here tonight, right?" It was so totally worth the three hour wait to see him perform. He is witty, funny and a damn good performer. I wished he would have done more! He played a lot of stuff from his solo albums, One Song Glory from Rent, a cover of "Maybe This Time" from Cabaret, a jazzed up version of Maria from West Side Story, and he closed with "What I Did for Love" from A Chorus Line.
Amanda and I were one of the last people to get his autograph; they cut the line off about 10 people behind us. He is seriously the perfect man: musically inclined, witty, and totally family oriented. How can you not melt when he performs songs he wrote for his infant sons? Priceless.
I do believe that quote is going in my signature.
Thanks, Lexi. I was just thinking that he has a pretty tough schedule for this tour, considering that he doesn't have a superstar entourage to smooth his path. It must be hard to travel, set up in a new place, perform, do the autograph thing, get to bed quite late, then do it all again the next day, and the next. Good thing it's fairly short.
Amber, what was always hardest for me was knowing how much liquid and handling was right. They tell you to handle it as little as possible.

Best quote ever.
That's funny.

Per my continuously-refreshing LJ friends page, Broadwaysecrets were posted a few minutes ago. The sad thing is that I don't know what a good 25% of them are even talking about.
I'd suggest those with really strong feelings on Raul's, uh, issues to stay away this week if you don't want to be angry for the rest of the night.
Just saw your post before my last, Lexi. That really is funny. cacophony of female screams

I'll just pray that I don't get banned for linking to that. But, uh, check out her videos.
There's Glory. And Maria. And I'm with You and What I Did for Love.
