Going to the doctor is something I don't really want to deal with (student health services and long lines). I get this at least twice a year - it's just difficult to be sick when I don't have a kitchen or anything to make myself soup. I also don't have a medicine cabinet with an endless supply.

A new guitar? Oh I wish...congrats! I wanna see!

Everyone's getting sick again? Make sure you keep up with your vitamins, and hot decaf tea!

Later today on Cooking with Amber...I'll be attempting the art of homemade pasta noodles...depending on the success of it...there may or may not be baking with Amber tonight...

Aww, poor Fantab. If you know the sore throat is going to turn into cold-like symptoms, I would say just take a Dayquil now.

There's something about the smell of movie theater popcorn that makes me kinda queasy. When I was younger, my mother would just sneak in air-popped popcorn for me with grated Parmesan cheese and oregano sprinkled on top of it. Yum.

Heh, Guitar Center. My brother loves that place, and every time he goes, my parents are afraid he'll want to buy another guitar (he bought his 4th a couple of months ago).

Hmmm. I'm trying to figure out what I can get away with here so I don't have to go out. I have Robitussin for cough, airborne, and advil. Probably not a very good selection.

Aww, feel better Fantab! Oy, everyone I know is getting sick now, probably because the weather is changing. It was 70 out yesterday.

This is basically my new guitar, although mine's a bit different.

Actually, if you only have a sore throat right now, the Advil should take care of it. If you feel that it's going to develop into something more within the next few days, you might want to buy Sudafed or some sort of nasal decongestant. At that point, though, it might be easier just to buy DayQuil as it's kind an "all-in-one" medication.

Feel better! I think that I'm getting sick myself. Everyone seems to get sick when the weather changes.

Yeah...sick or allergies.

Fantab, I'm not positive but don't certain places...CVS or something deliver some over the counter meds?

I have no clue.

It turns out my mother is working in the area tonight and needs me to sign some tax forms so she's going to pick me up some soup and medicine.

Aww.

I really want bww to stop refreshing itself. It's driving me crazy.

Sarah: ME. TOO. It's been doing this since yesterday. I fear for my computer's safety. I've been uploading something for someone, and it's going on 18 hours (big file, even zipped). If my browser pulls another stunt like freezing, as it did the other night... the computer will go out the freakin' window.

Hehe, I love that soup cures everything.

ETA: Huh? BWW refreshing? What's it doing?

Skittles was having the same problem last night. It's the stupid clicking noise that I can't stand.

I am as well...cause I kept thinking I was getting ims...

So lets talk about tortellini filled with cheese...would you go for a tomato basil sauce or just a simple cream sauce?

I would go for the tomato basil sauce, Amber. The cheese plus the cream sauce might be a bit rich, do you think?

I've had it both ways, and I don't really prefer one to the other...they're both good. They're also about equal as far as how to make, that's why I was curious on people's thoughts re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part eight

Another vote for tomato basil sauce. My mom always makes tortellini with cream sauce, and I agree with Amber on the richness.
I'll probably be cooking today, too; I've been thinking about making a quick bread, maybe with strawberries and almonds.

I would just like to establish that it's not my fault everyone is sick. Mine is allergies, not a cold, so you didn't catch it from me. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part eight

Fantab, you could try those Vicks sprays for your throat. That targets the sore throat directly without overmedicating you for symptoms you don't yet have.

It's not refreshing like it would when you press the refresh button. It's just the ads that refresh themselves and the clicking noise. And the bar at the bottome with the green lines keeps appearing.
