Feel better. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part eight

I hope I'm not getting sick. I think I feel crappy due to allergies, but... I'm not sure.

Feek better, Alex.

I hope that you don't get sick too, Em.

My brother has a cold, so I've been trying to stay away from him. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part eight

You should take a nap!

I don't have strep as the culture revealed, but I do have a lot of the symptoms. So "some sort of virus," in her words. Thanks, doc.

Don't mind me, I'm on medication right now and a little loopy.

*makes matzo ball soup for everyone who's sick*

There's just something about this time of year that makes everyone get sick - I think it's the rather volatile weather, with such sudden changes in temperature from day to day.

Grr, I was supposed to go to the library today but it's too windy and I really don't think my ears could handle it. It's windy enough that it would make walking difficult.

They lied. They told me my iPod would be back in 7 days, but no, it's THREE WEEKS.

When they said I could get a replacement, they asked if I wanted it engraved again; my parents bought me my iPod and it has my name on the back. But they didn't tell me that that DOUBLES the return time. I said yes and they told me I'd have it back in a week. If I had known that, I would've said not to bother! Ugh. I wish they'd cared to mention that.

It's not back, so I called, and they were like "oh. yeah. We had to send it to Taiwan."

Booo. I haven't yet had to deal with tech support, so I guess that's good. *knocks on wwod*

Em, are you trying the Wicked lotto while you're in Cincinnati?

I asked my mom if we could, and she said no. I think once we get there, if we're really bored, I'll ask one more time. If not, it's ok.

Their tech support is usually really helpful. They just clearly forgot a key piece of information. re: The Official Adam Pascal Love Thread, part eight
I guess I can use my mom's. She's not going to be too keen on letting me take my laptop to Cincy, but I can't live without all of my music, and I didn't bring home blank CD's OR a CD player because I was counting on my iPod being here.

Oy, poor Em. That's awful that it's taking so long; my brother has had to send his iPod in a few times for repairs and he's always gotten it back in less than a week.
