I asked. They don't know for sure, but probably around then. I'm wearing a knee-length black skirt and I don't know what top.
Aw, you should show Adam a little more leg.

Although it seems that shooting always runs overtime for these types of projects, I doubt it will take until 6 PM to shoot two scenes. Even if it does, you're not held hostage - I'm sure they'd let you sneak out the door between takes.
Nah, Mandi, it's supposed to be a place full of modern orthodox/conservative Jews, so the custom is past the knee. Otherwise, you know.
thank you siamesedream, i'm gonna go then and see how long it takes!! I have a nice black skirt to wear but don't know what top...I don't know what orthodox/concervative Jewish wardrobe consists of, me being a Gentile and all...I feel like wearing my Church clothes would be somehow sacreligious? =P
Oh well, i'm wicked excited for tomorrow! I hope I run into you, Em!

I hope everyone has an awesome time tomorrow! Take pictures if you can.
Call me, we'll meet up.
My stomach hurts. I have this fear that I'm going to wake up tomorrow feeling miserably ill. It's like a sign that I shouldn't go, or something. :/
I hope everyone who's going has fun! Make sure you take lots of pictures if you can
I can't wait for the details. Exams start tomorrow, but I hope all of you have a wonderful time.

Is anyone back yet?
Nope, zip-nadda Heheheh, I know I sound like some annoying fan-girl but I'm getting a little impatient~I really want to hear some details!

Jeez, how late does this thing go to?
I guess pretty late, unless people are too busy to come back & post here.
Perhaps it was all just an elaborate ploy for the Scientologists to get a bunch of young, impressionable girls into one place in order to recruit some new followers. I mean, Adam has been living in LA. They could have gotten to him...
Or something...

LOL
Hahahaha. You're too funny Mandi.
Hey guys, I'm back, but because it went VERY late, I can't really post about it right now. I have to eat dinner and try to do some studying, but I promise I'll tell you about it either later tonight or sometime tomorrow. It wasn't supposed to go this late at all, but you'd be surprised how long this stuff takes! It ended about an hour ago; it took me a while to get home and I stopped to pick up dinner.
I think the movie might actually be kind of cute. Very cheesy, but the writing is pretty funny, from what I could tell. :)
Sounds like you had a good time Em. I can't wait to hear all about it later.
I'm not surprised they ran late. Doing two fairly big scenes like that in one day is pretty ambitious. I'm looking forward to everyone's comments.
The "two scenes" part of the mission was actually a little bit misleading. The majority of the time was spent doing reactions to both, but Adam and the dancers actually only performed the "good," final version of the song. They had us laugh at stuff, look shocked, get up and leave, and cheer for "Bobby," so they could get good crowd shots for various parts of the film, and we got to see a few dialogue scenes filmed, as well.

That sounds awesome Em.
I left early because I had to babysit, so I guess i'll give a run down!! First of all, today made me HATE the film industry and I never want to be an extra again. Blah.
The day started off on a great note: I was outside my myself waiting to meet Em, and Adam walks right by me and says "Hi!" I almost melted =) So we sign in, and they sit us in the litle theatre and nothing much happens for over an hour. Then they had us do cheesey laughing reaction shots as well as shocked/offended reaction shots. Sounds simple, no? It took until after THREE p.m. to do this!! So we break for pizza. I run around the place trying to get my bag, and by the time I get down, I realize Adam had been outside and I missed him! (Em can fill you in on that part) I was upset cause I just really wanted a picture.
So, by 5 o'clock we're still doing more laughing reactions and offended reactions. YAWN. I finally leave right before 6 because i'm already late for babysitting. As I walk out, Adam is RIGHT in front of me again! Before I can speak, he goes "hi, sweetie!" and I asked if I could take a picture. I almost cry as I realize I LEFT MY CAMERA INSIDE and can't go back in because they are still shooting. I'm sure I looked like an IDIOT as I mumbled about losing my camera and Adam is so sweet and just goes "i'm sure it's still by your seat!" but after I can't et back in, I just had to leave to get downtown. I jus twas NOT meant to get a picture with this man! unbelievable. I frantically called Em who salvaged my camera (THANK YOU!!) and made it to my babysitting job 15 minutes late. I didn't get a picture and I didn't even get to see Adam sing. Ugh. I am exahusted and still have a test to study for. Um, i'm kind of incoherent right now so if anyone wants any other info, just ask =)
Gonna post some details sooooon. :)
Welcome to my world, EIS! Not that I'm involved with production, but post-production often has very similar hurry up and wait situations. Shooting a movie gets very tedious, with endless waits for lighting adjustments and multiple angles and takes. That's just how it is. I'm sorry you were so unlucky with getting a picture.

Emcee, I know I've already briefly spoken to you, but I'm glad to hear that everyone seemed to have at least a decent time, even if it didn't turn out to be exactly what was advertised (someone said the same thing on LJ). What was the dialogue?
