Row G Center or side? Were you looking up one ticket or two? I'm just curious, cause I was playing around on the ticketing site the other day to see what would come up, and I believe it was Row J, Center for two tickets.
When I went to pick up my tickets the end of December, I peeked inside the theatre. Looks like a great place for a concert.

Just lonely ol' me would be going! =) I made Chris sit through it once, I won't do it to him again! I think it was Row G Seat 12 or something like that. It was last night when I looked it up.

Aw, well you can probably meet up with people from this thread to keep you company! :)
Why? I don't want to meet my competition for Adam's affections!=) just kidding!
Hehe. Alex, are you going?
I'm excited, yay.

Nope Wish I was. I'll probably be at his next one that is somewhere in this area. heh.
I think he's doing more in April. I hope he does something else that's actually IN Manhattan, though. I'm glad the NJ gig is close by, but still.

I know, I am surprised he hasn't done anything in the city. That's where *most* of his fans are (also many general theater fans/new yorkers would go as well).
Is the concert Feb 9th or 10th?
I wonder if it doesn't have something to do with the venues that he'd play here -- he's done Joe's Pub a number of times, the Metropolitan Room isn't all that big, he's done The Cutting Room. There are a ton of venues throughout the city, but I guess since he's more established than say, your standard group of friends who get together and start a band, he doesn't really fall too easily into the "right" category for a lot of the places throughout the city. He could easily fill Birdland, so I wonder why he hasn't played there, especially because of its close relationship with the theater community -- then again, maybe that's why.
It's the 9th. I'm pretty sure.
It is on the 9th.
Metro Room was nice, but WAY too cramped. I was sitting at the end of the table, and I was praying everytime the waiter went flying by I wouldn't be covered in a drink! Kinda took away my attention from Adam.
The forum theatre sounds nice.
The Metropolitan Room is o.k., I think my favorite place is Birdland with Joe's Pub coming in 2nd.
I think the Forum could be falling apart around me during the concert and I wouldn't care, because it's close by for a change.

He told me he's possibly coming to B.B. Kings in May, but I have no idea how definite that is.
I hope that Adam does get to B.B. King's.
Does anyone think I have a chance of getting 2 tickets to the NJ show on the 9th? I want to get tickets for my friend for her birthday.
Oh yes, I was on their site last night and there were seats still available!
Feel better for Friday, Ariella!
Did you decide if you're going yet, Tink? If it's not too far, you should try to go!
I think I am going to go. Just have to make sure the other plans I had did indeed fall through. I then see Tarzan that Sunday. Adam & Josh in the same weekend, how much can a girl take? =)
Thanks, Tink. I'm going to look into getting tickets.
This talk really makes me want to fo to a concert of his but, for now, all of his venues are too far, and I don't think anyone would come with me. I like reading what people write about the concerts, though. It cheers me up, especially during midterm week (I just had Bio. Ew!).
Ok, it's official, I'm going, got my ticket! Sorry for all of the drama! =)
Yay you got you're ticket Tink!!
I really wish Adam would come to Minnesota, I feel so deprived. I mean it's like COME ON, you go to the cheese-head land of Wisconsin but not it's next-door neighbor? Rather depressing if you ask me.
I'm sorry Brina! I hope he gets to your area soon!
I'm totally with you Brina. We have so much more to offer here - and the Minneapolis/St.Paul area does have a good music and theater scene. So Wisconsin? I was starting to feel that driving down to Platteville was bordering on excessive, but then someone on myspace said they drove 9 hours. Nothing like Adam's myspace for putting yourself in perspective.
At the concert at Duke this past Friday two girls drove all the way from Georgia to Durham, NC. I'm not quite sure where in Georgia they came from, but I'd consider that a pretty decent distance to drive. Hope all of you with shows coming up in the near future enjoy yourselves! You certainly won't be let down!
i just watched the clip of Adam & fan singing Elaborate Lives from that concert...absolutely adorable!!! He is such a ham!
Initially when I heard he was coming to Wisconsin all I could do was squeal "FINALLY!!!!" But then my dad gave the harsh reality that it would probably take around 9 hours just to get there and back. You never know, perhaps someone might recommend him to come here...*crossing my fingers that he does read this* Anyway, good morning to everyone!
