I think that perfectionism is damning, sometimes. There's this paper that I've been working on for two semesters, and I'm petrified of it. I know that after that much time, it needs to be perfect... and it isn't. So rather than figuring out what's wrong and fixing it, at the end of last semester I got so overwhelmed with that and in addition to all exams and stuff, and just didn't finish it. And blatantly avoided talking to my professor (very famous, great recommendation, extremely great person to work with) about it. What is WRONG with me? I'm going to end up screwing everything up for myself...

Since everyone is talking about bad days, I'll add my two cents. In science class today, we were moving our desks into small groups, and I forgot about my coffee mug on top of my desk, and so I spilled coffee everywhere, all over my desk, my notes, my pants...it was ridiculous.
Then the professor started talking about how there are no absolutes in preferential treatment, so I just kept thinking "to no absolutes, to Absolut..." I'm thankful that class is over for the day!

I miss you guys a lot. The SAT prep book is no substitute for high-quality internet time.

The computer is due back in a little less than a week. I'm going to try to sneak off to the library as often as possible in the meantime. What have I missed? Emcee says that you have all declared war on the Anthony fangirls.
