IMO, I think the problem is that you both appear to have similar personalities. Which when your butting heads causes problems. You both seem to like having the last word, but at the same time you're both slightly goading the other one on. You've at least attempted to end the conversation several times.
They were obviously planning for IMAX!RENT. Hullo!
I think that this never-ending debate needs to end. IMO, they all did a good job in the movie.
Your Eyes on IMAX...wow.
Imax Adam would have been crazy. It's going to be so weird to watch the DVD and have Adam's head be proportional to mine.
Mandi, I think I posted there once about the whole Book of Endings mess. Nobody ate me.
I said that once, CS -- I think we have very, very similar ways of thinking.
"That's how I am in general. I have to feel like I've sufficiently gotten the last word, and made the other person back down. Then I usually end up feeling bad, like maybe I was too harsh, but in the act, I push really hard."
Em, that's why you rock. You're willing to fight to stand up for what you believe in, and even when something pisses you off, you can channel that anger into something eloquent.
"After all the crap everyone gave Columbus, I'm surprised people aren't mentioning him anywhere in this argument. It's not like he let the actors run free and do whatever they want."
Heh, I'm reminded of that idiot who posted something right around when the movie came out shrieking about how it was ADAM's fault that the cliff sequence happened.
O god they blamed Adam for the cliff? I'd like to see that on IMAX too :)
I think that putting things on Adam instead of Columbus is done to get a reaction. They know that there's a love thread for Adam (actually four threads). People seem to be more indifferent to Columbus, it'd be more of a conversation instead of an all out bitter debate.
Your Eyes on IMAX....would be scary.
That's a good point CS. They get more people to fight back when someone mentions Adam.
Thanks, BBG. But sometimes, I just get mad.
Didn't someone say Adam should've not let them do the cliff scene? So its presence is his fault? haha.
IMAX Adam
I agree CS.
I'm sure somebody somewhere has said that. I think I remember some people who weren't happy with the movie being upset with the OBC for not protesting the way that scenes were set up or something.
I wonder what Adam was thinking when they did the cliff scene. I mean - how could he not feel silly?
Mandi, those are hilarious!
hahahaha
Everytime I see him in the car at the beginning of What You Own or Adam on the cliff, it makes me giggle- It provides the comic relief after Without You, I'll Cover You Reprise, and Goodbye Love.
I love this movie so much! I can't wait for the dvd!!!

I love him in the car. The acting of his hair should've been nominated for something.
just to continue the love..
I bet he was just like "WTF?!"
Aww, you're welcome Em. And we all get mad sometimes
"Didn't someone say Adam should've not let them do the cliff scene? So its presence is his fault? haha."
Yeah, that's what it was. The guy kept blaming Adam for not refusing to do the scene, and was throwing around the claim that he was a filmmaker of some sort in an attempt to lend more weight to his opinion. It was so insanely stupid that it just stuck in my memory.
I think he probably thought it was a great idea and didn't realize that it would come across looking so silly.
What You Own is not supposed to be comic relief. That's the big problem with that.
I always got the giggles as soon was WYO started. It was awkward the first 3 times...because the theater was packed and people were crying.
I know that Ash...and it made me slightly mental, but there's nothing we can do about it, so why not laugh?
