Nice pics.
He should take a picture with my flag.
Yeah, I didn't like how half of the song was just kinda background music, then the other half they were actually singing. I think they should've sang the whole thing.
Allie, maybe that's the behind the scenes thing, an hour of Adam on the cliff.
That would be nice
I hope there's gag reel footage out there of Adam off-set on the Cliff being like "pfffft."

Like Shiksa Goddess, I didn't really have a problem with the cliff until I saw so many others bashing it. I was a bit "WTF?" the first time I saw it, but after I read people just incessantly ragging on it, it grew to infamy in my mind, too.
They did NOT have to go to Santa Fe. They could have shot him performing in some bar, seeing Mimi in the crowd, and said THAT was Santa Fe.
ETA: I also don't thin The Cliff is that horrible. Just...odd?

Authenticity!
Since it was made last night at 11ish, this thread has accumulated almost 500 replies. Wow.
Well...then they could have shot it in a bar in Santa Fe. And, they can keep the shot of him selling the car, buying the guitar, and getting on the bus.
Do you guys remember the person who said that the bus stop sign didn't really look like THE one in Santa Fe? hahaha.
I got so confused at that point. I thought he was selling the guitar, not buying it. So I was like is he in Santa Fe or isn't he, I thought it was a flashback.
:)
Speaking of gag reel footage, I've read that the DVD will have deleted scenes but I don't remember there being anything mentioned about outtakes...do you think they're just grouped with deleted scenes??? I would be sad if there were none.
Wasn't he buying the guitar with the money from selling the guitar? And then he used the rest for a bus ticket.
Yeah I got that once he bought the bus ticket.
I think it was sell the original guitar for a car (unseen), then drive to NM, sell the car, use that $ to buy a guitar and then a bus ticket cuase there isn't enough $ to buy another car to get home? (Or no need to have a car when he gets back to NYC)

Wait, lemme see if I have this right: He sold his guitar to buy a used car, then he bought it back somehow... wait- that's not right! He bought it back but how? With what money? Because he bought the bus ticket with the $$ from playing on the streets, so he obviously had the guitar for that. Okay, I am confused.
I REALLY hope there are bloopers. Maybe they put them in with some of the behind the scenes footage?
JL that's right. Sorry I didn't mean to confuse everyone. I was just stating that I didn't understand the first time I saw it. It is pretty clear what he's doing, it just takes a bit of time to register.
yeah ... that would work. I've heard funny stories of bloopers while filming TMOLM and I imagine there are tons! Any kind of behind the scenes stuff will be fun, especially if it's informal like Anthony's behind the scenes stuff at the riot from the blog (as opposed to formal interviews in costume between scenes or whatever)

I agree, snowbird. When he was signing papers at the car place I thought "Wait we already saw him drive the car, how could he be buying it?" Then I realized, oh, duh, he'd have to sign papers to sell it, too. :)
