In NYC Martha is on NBC at 11am. Thanks for the reminder. I'll be videotaping it, so not much help for everyone else.
And Emcee, happy birthday once again! I'm sorry it has to fall at such a busy time for you.

Thank you. It's okay. I mean, if nothing else, even though it's tending to be a time in which I'm reminded of missing people I'm at odds with and the like, it's also a good excuse to have the people I love cheer me up.
I'll probably tape it so I can go to the library.
It's a little daunting that Adam's wife has my actual e-mail address, first and last name. Whoops.

Does she know the extent of your fandom, Em? Maybe she can pass on your name to him. Heh.
I'll videotape it. I should probably set my VCR now so I don't forget.

No.... that time I e-mailed her, I just said that I admitted to finding out about the book because of the fact that I was a big fan of Adam's.

And that shouldn't have come as a surprise to her, since he emailed his fans about the book. It must feel odd that she has your personal email address though.

I felt like it looked a bit better than using my cheesy Yahoo address. It lead to a nice brief conversation, though, since she asked about how I was dealing with the allergies and whatnot being away at college.

She does seem like a very nice person.
I was googling something and came across an old thread about Adam's first Joe's Pub appearance. It was about a year and a half ago, but feels more like five to me, I don't know why.

The past eight months feel like years to me.

I feel sadly nostalgic, which is silly over something a year and a half ago.
I wish I could send you an allergy-free cake, or whatever you'd most like for a birthday treat.

aww, thanks. :)
I feel that way lately, too. It makes for such downer times, though.

For some reason I've spent a good part of the day feeling down.

Story of my life, lately.
He's such a cutie. At least that's one thing that never changes. Well, almost never. :)

Time has actually been going extremely fast for me. I can't believe there are only 22 days of high school left. Unfortunately, I have a horrible headache today. I tried to nap, but I couldn't fall asleep.

Kind of random, but that's what the thread is all about right? Heh! I got assigned my number today for my tryouts on friday. I'm kind of superstitious, so does anyone have anything bad or good to say about the number 18?

Dancinqueen, the number 18 is a very good number. In the Jewish religion, it's symbolic of life, and at major events like bar mitzvahs or weddings people give gifts of money in multiples of 18 because it's good luck.

I've said this before, but I had an EXACT copy of that yellow bear that was my favorite stuffed animal as a child. I took it everywhere.
I hope everyone cheers up soon. It seems like such a cloud of negativity has been hovering above a lot of us for a while.
