Nope. There were *tons* of people. And yes, after they sold the 34 lotto tickets, they pulled 15 more names for rear mezz seats.

Our house is in Surf City, pretty close to the bridge. It makes me glad that we don't have a long way to go once we finally get to the island! :)
EDIT: I'm getting mean looks, so I'm putting my laptop away. That's what I get for being obsessed with Rent during my after school meeting :)

I want to see pictures. I wonder if any will pop up on Wire Image and such. Hm...hopefully they're better dressed than for the 5th anniversary?

I have to work on a Spanish project tonight that I'm not looking forward to. I think I might just put it off till about 8 tonight and then make it look like crap because it's only a rough draft.

I used to be such an over-achiever, doing my homework as soon as I got home. Now I don't do it until after dinner half the time. Heh.

You'd think there would be some type of red carpet thing, but if they have them already in the building, I can see no reason why they would want to bring them out. I have a feeling people are just going to hang around to see who they can spot.
While waiting for the names to be announced, we were standing alongside the edge of the barricades and we saw Will Chase, Andy Senor, Wilson Cruz, Kelly Karbacz, Luther Creek, and Matt Caplan walk up to the theater. Then, Frenchie Davis and Constantine Maroulis announced the names, and afterwards Dan Rosenbaum appeared and was signing autographs.

Constantine Maroulis announced the lotto winners? That's kinda cool.

Well, I'm guessing they tried to get an many Rent alums as pobbible to do the finale. That's going to be so amazing.
...anyone know anything else about this video podcast thing? I'm over being jealous/mad, and now I'm actually a bit excited to see how it all goes.

Someone on CB said that all there was going to be an extended version of SOL with the alums.

Random, but: I walked into a store the other day with my friend and we heard this wierd remix of SOL. It was really strange and gross. And at some point at the end it was everyone saying LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! Wierd..

I think that's what they're doing a la "One Day More" at the Les Mis 10th Anniversary Concert.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Antonique Smith said that's what they're doing on her website.

Wow-- lots of excitement today. I just caught up on the thread.
Fantab, sorry things didn't work out with the lottery. Are you planning on trying to stagedoor following the show?
I think Em mentioned she was thinking about the "show only" ticket... does anyone know if she decided to go ahead with that?
The pics of the lottery were amazing. Can't wait to hear all about the show!

I am STRESSING OUT. Day of Silence is on Wednesday, and I have to bake, pass out fliers, come up with activities, and scrounge for rainbow ribbon. Maybe I'll cut up my mom's lanyard...

So glad you mentioned the podcasts! I'm kind of surprised-- I figured they'd have the ones with all of the OBC-ers up by now.
...of course, the one we're mainly interested in is Adam's. I wonder if he's recorded something & they've just not put it up yet, or perhaps his schedule didn't permit?
ETA: I don't blame you, Fantab. That crowd... definitely not for the faint of heart!

I want to nap, but I can't sleep. I feel horrible... about various things. Oh well.
I know I asked before, but does anyone have any idea when the after party might be over?
