What was the occasion for the kitty face?

Silly Chloe, that's what she looks like everyday.

Just got back from dance and I'm drenched in sweat. I'm really happy though because my teacher said that she's going to help me with an audition and she said that she has connections(the last few times I auditioned, I didn't make it) It's giving me hope and something to look forward to

What are you auditioning for?

Chloe, it was for a Psych project. I had to break a social norm, so I walked around like that for a few hours on Sunday.

See, I knew that wasn't your usual look.
What conclusions did you come to after this experiment?
And Dancinqueen, congratulations on getting help with your audition.

I just came across this link to really nice professional pictures taken at Adam's GCU show last night. You can even order prints if you want. Take a look.

Some of them were really fantastic...I'm still distracted by the weird orange necklace...

Great pictures, I agree about the necklace though.

I like it. Did anyone get a close look at that necklace? I keep thinking there must be something written on that medallion or whatever it is.

Yeah, it gives him character.
I was curious about the necklace as well!

Elphie, I had to do an experiment like that for an Urban Studies class I took a couple of years ago. I can't remember what exactly I did, though (I try to block out my memories of that class for various reasons).
Oooh, purty pictures!

Emcee, wherever you are, I have a question about your wonderful review. You said that during the Q&A, "he said a bit about how revenue isn't THE indicator of good art, and was really very passionate about what he was saying." Can you (or anyone else who was there) give a little more detail about the context for this and exactly what he said?

I'm here. Hang on.

I think that was in reference to a question about if he thought the movie captured the true essence of Jonathan's vision. So he spoke a bit about how although the movie might not have been a commercial success, that was not everything. Something like that.

Chloe, that answer was in response to the question about the movie being as good as it could have been. He said that he's sure that we've all listened to cds or seen shows or movies that no one else saw/heard. He said that the amount of money that something makes has nothing to do with its artistic quality. I'm sure that someone else has a better answer.

Also, that the political climate of the country right now is nothing like it was in '96. So, he thinks that if the show came out today, it would get the reception the movie got. I thought that was interesting.

And probably true. The show just seemed to pick up on a particular zeitgeist of its time and place.
Thanks for all your answers. I thought he might be referring to the movie.

Very interesting and perceptive Adam comments there.

Someone also asked a question about whether or not Adam was anything like Roger. Adam very quickly said "No!" and people found it rather funny. Then he said besides the love of music, they weren't alike.
