Quick, how do I explain the WireImage charge to my parents?! They're always complaining that I have a tendency to essentially throw away money (true) and paying $25 to view freaking PICTURES isn't exactly going to fly with them.

Em, you could always poke some of the fake cheese that's made out of soy.

One of my parents' friends has severe nut allergies. I remember one time at a fancy party a few years back she started to eat her salad, unaware that it contained walnuts, and had such a bad reaction that her husband had to take her to the hospital.

Heh, oh yeah, you all suggested the "school" excuse. I don't know if I could pull that off considering none of my classes would require the use of a particular celebrity photo, but maybe I'll try.

SD, say you were doing a project on pop culture or something and needed the pictures. Are you taking any law classes? You can say you had a project on celebrity trials or something.

You could do something about the use of fashion in today's culture and how some celebrities feel that they most outdo the others, while on the other hand, others show up trashy with no respect. Or something like that, lol.

Be as vague as possible when explaining the Wireimage charge to your parents. You don't want to come up with an elaborate excuse and then slip on one of the details the next time it gets brought up.
