That's understandable. A lot of it is off-topic or rather inscrutable. There are gems to be found however, and one of the best is luvtheEmcee's report after spending the day on the Rent movie set, which you'll see in the middle of thd page I've linked.

Chloe, thank you so much for posting that link! I never got a chance to read Emcee's post about the movie set, and it was wonderful... =)
Welcome Ariella! So lucky that you got to see the OBC & some many productions/concerts that Adam was in.
Chloe- I'm going on a cruise to the Bahamas *squeals with excitement*

ohh fun Angela!! When are you going?
Alex- I'm leaving Monday
I'm gonna have so much Adam & So You Think You Can Dance withdrawl. I'm missing the finale. *sigh*
I remember reading that post a while back Chloe, but it's always nice to read it again.
Angela, I hope you have fun on your cruise. I've always wanted to go on a cruise, but my mom gets seasick.
So like I said before, my dad had surgery yesterday...he came home this morning!
I hope your dad is doing well. Hospitals are no fun.
Reading that post sure brings back memories. We were all so excited, waiting to hear about the big day. Rent had just started shooting, and very little was known about the look of the movie and characters, aside from what Anthony had posted here on BWW. Of course that was an event and a half in itself.
Geez, I'm getting all misty-eyed and nostalgic now.
Speaking of that, I went back to search for some of Anthony's old posts and nothing came up at all. Same with Wax Lion.
I miss Wax Lion. I guess Wax Lion wouldn't have anything to share with us these days though! :)
JL- On Forget-Regret.net, the admin. collected all the posts that Anthony posted around the beginning of the Rent movie days.
Here it is!
I didn't realize those were still up on forget-regret. Was the riddle of Wax Lion ever solved? He was fun. I also collected Anthony's posts and edited them down to information about Rent. If anyone wants them on their computer, help yourself.

JL, I just tried searching for Anthony and Wax Lion's posts and found them all. Maybe your search terms were wrong?
Welcome to all the new posters.
Heh, you've brought my link out from the abyss. :)
It was a great post, Emcee. I was just remembering the discussions about what you should wear that day.
Hehe! I remember going shopping for an outfit! And then... it was five degrees and I had to wear a coat and a scarf anyway. And I remember being really sick when I went back a second time. It was just as cold and I was coughing constantly, but I went anyway. I read through those posts sometimes. Not sure why. I can't believe it's been almost a year since the movie came out. Blows your mind, doesn't it?
I was just thinking about how much time has past. I've been here for eight months, I never stick to anything that long. Adam hasn't even done much in that time. You girls are just too easy to get attached too.

I've been a longtime visitor of quite a few message boards, but I definitely don't visit most of them as often as I visit BWW. Sarah is right in that it's so easy to get attached to everyone! I have an incredible amount of respect for quite a few people here, and I mean that very seriously. :)
Entirely too easy. :)
Wow, I remember reading that post about the Rent set visit ages ago when it got linked to IMDb. Such a fantastic story. What an experience! Mr. and Mrs. Larson were there at the mini concert in L.A. that I went to, and it got me all choked up, too. I mean, I spent a lot of time being choked up, but I'm not complaining because it resulted in a great Adam hug and being called sweetie.
Hopefully Adam will be back on the maps soon (please no delay with this CD like Civilian) and who knows - maybe he will have some luck in Hollywood.

Was the LA concert the first time you'd seen him do his own material live, Ariella?

Larry's website says that they're planning a fall tour to promote the new album, so I'm hoping it will be released sometime this fall. It wouldn't be too smart to tour without having the new CD available.
Ariella, you should have asked him about the baseball hat with the surfing company logo on it. I fully intend to ask about a certain pair of pants at one of the fall concerts.
Ever since I came to this thread & the boards, I religiously have to log on to BWW like once a day.
When I go on vacation, I'm gonna have some major withdrawl problems
I hope you're having too good a time to worry about that, Angela.
Lexi, I'll be waiting with bated breath for the answer to your question.
The post got linked on IMDB? Heh, I had no idea!
I think I'm going to be without internet for like a week at the end of the month. I have no idea what I'm going to do. I'm bringing my computer, though; hopefully I can steal a wireless signal.
Yeah, me too! Believe me, I'm kicking myself about not asking him. Lexi, was it you that wrote on IMDb "I don't know which is funnier - the thought of Adam actually surfing or Adam wearing a surfing logo to fit in?" Either option is funny.
And in answer to your question, Chloe - yeah, L.A. was the first time I'd seen him do his own material. Crazy, isn't it? But that's one of the problems of living in the midwest. It's hardly a nest of rabid Rent/Adam fans.
Did you formerly live in NY, or just visit here enough to be able to see all those shows? I'm originally from the Chicago suburbs, by the way.
Actually, I'm probably the one who linked your post to IMDb, Emcee. As you know, I enjoy spreading the word.
